    2. It's funny you referenced Alabama on top of Mississippi. I couldn't find current numbers, but as of 2009 Mississippi and Alabama were ranked #2 and #3 in the number of black legislators, right behind #1 which was Georgia. You think they would deny their own constituents the right to vote?
    1. One word: Lynching.

    2. If they are a minority, then just like the Democrats in Wisconsin, they have no power to stop anything from being passed by the RW Majority. All three states have a solid RW Majority. Georgia is the most far right state in the nation.

It seems the base line has been moved. Now fair representation isn't enough, it has to be majority representation.

With this criteria every state in the union would be racist, sexist, homophobic or whatever.

By the way, that's the 1950's and 1960's, not the 1850's and 60's.
Actually it was people throughout the United States and around the English speaking world.

    "Toms"????

Guess we know where you're coming from, which fits into the history of the Democratic Party quite neatly.

    Certainly.

Every Republican from Abraham Lincoln to Martin Luther King worked to free the Black people and many thousands of others, Black and White, fought for their rights. Now the left is trying to discard their past, and present, by claiming they somehow switched sides. All nonsense of course and with no evidence whatsoever.

Quite the contrary. It is the Democrats who pass laws saying that Blacks are not equal to Whites and Asians, that they have less intelligence and ability. That is not in dispute..
