No, businesses do not operate at the margin. Poorly run businesses run at the margin.

Wrong. If increasing hours for workers increases profits and productivity, then that is what businesses do. A massive Government regulation like Obamacare creates a disincentive for them to do that however, and only ends up hurting the employee in the long run. Clearly you are posting from a position of ideology, not knowledge or experience.
You can continue to repeat your dishonest claims about Obamacare, but you still haven't posted any actual real life example.

Find a mirror and repeat the bolded part until you grasp the concepts. Btw, a business of one with no employees? Again, stuffing envelopes at home does not qualify you as knowledgeable regarding business.
Um, how do you know that his business consists of stuffing envelopes at home? You don't even know him. Instead of personally attacking him, you might attempt to debate him.

I appreciate the post, but I suspect it's futile to hope that he will support his argument (whatever it may be) with anything substantive. I have invited him to post a real life example to support his claim, and with his claim of owning 20 businesses I would have thought he would have at least one example. But alas, nothing has been posted.

I haven't ducked anything. Please identify any issue I have ducked. Please include links to support your dishonest accusation

You certainly did make that claim, It's just one of several where you just made crap up because you can't back your claims with anything substantive or factual. For example, for all the whining, you still have not identified any rule that has shut down a viable business.
Have to agree with you overall on the conversation. When i was a little younger I had a "low level foliage height reduction" business. (mostly operated in the summers)

As i recall i never had any issues with government regulations either. Not sure what those other guys are even talkin' about.....

    Heh!

Not that I'm making fun of it. Unless you're born rich, you have to start small, and build from there

This is hilarious. You don't even understand the economic concept. Operating margin = operating income/net sales. This is basic stuff that every business calculates. Major fail. Clearly you're a fraud. How embarrassing.

You can continue to repeat your dishonest claims about Obamacare, but you still haven't posted any actual real life example.
You're merely projecting here, because you can't answer simple straight forward questions. Like in the previous thread, the only thing you've accomplished here is undermining what little credibility and dignity you had left. It's safe to say you are now in the red in regards to both.

    Have a great evening

I see that you're not even familiar with the term, which is *not* "operating at the margin". "Operating margin" is the term, but it's not what you said. Your need to retroactively re-word your argument demosntrates the dishonesty and weakness of your argument.

And yet another post of yours which offers nothing substantive or factual. Instead, we have just one more in a long string of rants that offer nothing but ad homs.

Most businesses that have 50 employees or more offer insurance, and those that don't should do so or shut down.
