You need to watch more movies:

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

Yes... taxation and regulation are necessary. Nobody wants anarchy, and some taxation is necessary (for defense etc... not for some perverted Commi/Obama idea of "fairness") ... A whole ton of taxation and regulation are pure... unadulterated waste and BS that kills industry and upward mobility. Why? A mental illness called Socialism.

Do we really want to be like the EU? Not if you have at least three brain cells. Unfortunately many Obama voters can't trip over that hurdle.

Yes, there are tons and tons of regulations which are wasteful BS that kills industry

That's why the rightwingers can't identify one regulation that has killed one actual business.

A person would think that Obama's your child the way you guys jump to defend him from responsibility for anything.
Low, saying it's the President's fault with no proof is incredible. You know there are a great many more reasons why most businesses come or go.

Secondly, I do defend the President regularly. I also defend the GOP regularly. Most of the times I do it is defending it from desperate idiocy such as this.

You really have to have your head deep in some dark cavern to come up with that statement. You obviously haven't run a business. If you do I wish you a visit from OSHA, or get sued because you haven't followed some PC hiring guidelines, or if you're in the F&B business you get a visit from the health services... or try to get a development project permitted and have to jump through dozens of hoops, hire hand-holders to develop YOUR land.

    Let's not forget punitive taxation.

My bet is you were not alive when Reagan cut taxes and reduced regulations so business could thrive.

You wonder why businesses leave the US? Minimum wage (which causes artificial wage inflation), and loads of regulations cause business to tell the US to go to hell... and then government whines about jobs being outsourced. THEY and their idiocy caused a large portion of it... or do you forget that businesses have been leaving the US or folding?

I have run dozens of businesses, and had many visits from OSHA and a raft of other govt regulatory agencies. None of them has ever put me out of business, and often times the requirements they held me to improved my business and the bottom line and reduced potential liabilities.

And still, the rightwingers can't identify one regulation that has closed one real life actual business

Or even why there were more regulations implemented in Bush's 1st term than Obama's. Or that it was the deregulation of the commercial banks that CAUSED the financial collapse which cost millions of jobs and bankrupted 1000's of businesses.
