Well lets hope the rest of those Russians aren't as hysterical as this guy is. After they figure it out that he doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't see how he could get elected. Which IMO would be a good thing.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky denies meteorite, claims US weapons tests

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. Russian nationalist lawmaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky, long known for his flamboyance and outrageous remarks, said Friday that meteorite fragments had not rained down on Russia in the morning, but that the light flashes and tremors in several of the country’s regions resulted from US weapons tests, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.

“Those aren’t meteors falling, it’s the Americans testing new weapons,” Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, told journalists several hours after the Emergencies Ministry began issuing statements on the incident, which has injured hundreds and damaged scores of buildings.

He also said US Secretary of State John Kerry had wanted to warn Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about the “provocation” on Monday, but couldn’t reach him.....snip~

I can't believe this guy is a real politician.
Lol! As if we don't have enough on our plate. Sounds like somebody wants to start up the Cold War again.

The sonic boom from the meteorite had a pretty big effect on the city, like an earthquake apparently. If it had made direct impact, things could have been a lot worse for those people.

The Russians still have loads of multi-stage Fusion Weapons pointed.....wait, I'm at Target and some Women just called out to her daughter " Astrid "..

I get it, it's an old Norse name but it was spoken lazily and sounded like "Ass-terd"....

Fantastic. I'm a Conservative but I'm all for a arbitrary and capricious tax on women who give their kids stupid names. It should be levied at the Hospital.

If I run across one more Dakota, Cheyenne, Hunter, Damien, Chesney, Brook'lyne, Kaitlin I'm gonna lose it.

All it takes is a couple with marginal intelligence who call a tin building on wheels HOME and the stupidity abounds.....

sorry, back to my point. Uhm, the Ruskies are in no way our ally and would in an instant do away with us if they could. Hell all they have to do is dump their US treasuries or get China to dump its US bonds and thats all it would take.
