A fugitive ex-Los Angeles cop sought in three killings was barricaded in a cabin in the in the San Bernardino Mountains on Tuesday after a shootout with authorities that wounded two officers.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department says two law enforcement officers are being airlifted to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said the two law enforcement officers were being airlifted to a hospital with unknown injuries. The shootout occurred after deputies who were searching for Christopher Dorner in the Big Bear area responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area about 12:20 p.m. The people whose vehicle was stolen described the suspect as looking very similar to Dorner. Police located the vehicle, and the suspect ran into the forest and barricaded himself inside a cabin. A short time later there was an exchange of gunfire between law enforcement and the suspect. It's not clear which agency the two wounded agents belong to, State Fish and Wildlife Assistant Chief Dan Sforza told KCAL.....snip~

One of them died. Dorners count up to 4 now.

Its too bad, but the one twisted aspect of this story I don't get is the suport that increased for this murderer.


People making him out to be some modern day Serpico.

This guy had problems were ever he went and clearly had a personal agenda prior to becoming part of the LAPD.

How he got past their Psyche check is beyond me.

In his rambling Manifesto he brought up things that happened when he was in grade school.

Hes accomplished nothing positive. Just another lunatic that cracked.

A "name" as he defines it is just a jumbled eclectic mix of vowels and consonants given to you by your parents.

It unimportant and definitely not worth dying or killing for.

Character, integrity, dependabillity, work ethic and principle is what makes a human valuable. Your name just rides along.

No its not ok to turn into a psycho if things dont work out for you, even if you were treated unfairly.

Moving forward from that type of a situation even if youv'e fought tooth and nail to remedy it with grace and maturity is the measure of a man.

Not murdering innocent individuals and posting a nonsensical egocentric rant.

He'll die tonight and his "name" will be associated with the rest of the weak individuals who let this world and its circumstances defeat them.

Does it emreally matter if he is captured alive or killed? No one will talk about anything he brought up in his manifesto.

Yeah that's what I heard too. Plus Helicopters were over-head. One could hear the shots in the background.

I am not defending him. I was just wondering if we could have found out his real motive if he had been captured alive. Unfortunately he took the other way out
