Dr. Benjamin Carson's speech at prayer breakfast

No, you have that wrong....When you actually present facts, I mean actual facts, I'll consider them. So far you play far to fast and loose with what you call facts, as to question your whole integrity on any issue. Sorry.

You spoke of his phone call. I'll wait for you to present the "facts" of that call. While the leaps some of you have made on this have been amusing, they have not been factual.

Well, I am off to bed, gotta go to Indy tomorrow, maybe when I get back, I'll consider whether your claim of what I spoke of is even worth consideration of a reply...My guess is it is just one more thing you have wrong...Night now.

Here's an example of some real discomfort displayed with body language

Other than the 102 yr old, what was it that Obama promised in this speech, that wasn't rehashed, repackaged, warmed over BS from 2009?

We get it. You don't like Obama. But can we at least pick some criticism that doesn't apply to every president? Every congressional leader? Every party? How original and unreheased do your really think cut taxes and he's a socialist really are?

Somewhat off-topic, but if anyone wants to know more about Mr. Carson, read his autobiography Gifted Hands. It's amazing and Mr. Carson tells the truth, he doesn't try to make himself look like some goody-two shoes.

Herman Cain could've... He put the screws to Clinton back in the nineties when Clinton was trying to push universal healthcare... That's why the left (armed with Gloria Allred) did what they could to destroy him.

I guess to you all blacks look alike; this thread is about Dr. Carson, not Herman Cain.

Considering his absolute denial of evolution and implicit belief that those who do not believe in creationism are not ethical, I would not trust his opinions on reforming healthcare and the tax code.

What does one have to do with another? Would you care about his beliefs on evolution if you needed brain surgery?

Attacking the person's character rather then his argument is just cheap.

Obama claims to be a Christian also but perhaps the leftists realize he's just kidding.

I'm just glad someone with a back story similar to mine is getting positive attention on the national level. I've always been irritated beyond what you can believe by people making excuses for their lack of effort. Dr. Carson and I both came from single mothers who were poor but hard working. Excellent work ethic was taught by example to us, along with determination, leading from poverty to upper-middle class by means of academic efforts.

My grandfather was a strict Catholic, so he was shamed when my mother got pregnant with me her senior year of high school. I was due just two months after her graduation. He gave my mother the choice between putting me up for adoption or moving out of the house. She chose the latter and moved to the Baltimore area, where I spent my early childhood. She made the mistake of marrying a loser early on, but she realized this soon after my brother was born. Determined to take care of her sons on her own, and get away from her abusive husband, she divorced and enlisted in the Navy. Witnessing the sacrifices she made to give us the best she could, my brother and I were instilled with a strong work ethic. We both went on to 6 years college off of loans, majoring in multiple areas. I had my employer chosen back in high school, specifically one which would pay for my graduate education as I worked so that I could earn my math PhD and teach at university level.

It's funny how Dr. Carson became much more well known recently by his speech in front of Obama, because I'm in the process of writing a book about the lack of logic and ethics in society. I call out the people who expect handouts for being poor, rather than working hard to make sure their kids have a better life than they had. I explain how the tax system shouldn't penalize success, the justice system should make the risk greatly outweigh the rewards with respect to crime, and even why the voting system should be a weighted sum rather than all votes being counted equally. I agree with Dr. Carson that I wish there was a "logic party", but at least the Republicans are significantly closer than the Democrats to being such.

Truck Drivers Wanted: Jobs Hard To Fill Even In Bad Economy

What's sad is that such basic, plain, "duh" logic is now considered way out there in the minds of the great unwashed.

We get it. You don't like Obama.

Why what's not to like?

A man who

Want's to take my hard earned money, and give it to someone else

Want's to take my right to protect myself, and my family

Want's to make me pay more for

Gas
Food
Goods
Services
Taxes
even the air I breath

Want's to make me pay for other's health care, while offering me less of that health care for more money....

Want's to "fundamentally change" America, but won't say to what.

Yeah, ok.

But can we at least pick some criticism that doesn't apply to every president?

Why? Should Obama be immune?

How original and unreheased do your really think cut taxes and he's a socialist really are?

We'd move on if the obtuse among us would signal that they get it...Until then, much like children the left requires that we repeat ourselves until it sinks in.

Why does the right suddenly have a hard-on for this guy? This has to be like the 5th or 6th thread about the same thing.

Immune no, but damn let's not pretend hes the only one and that many didn't look the other way when their guy was doing it.

As for repeating, try repeating something true. Even your list against Obama above is largely either hyperbolic or down right false. No one should listen to silliness and such inaccuracies as is largely posted by those who dislike Obama. Even I pointed ut falsehoods against Bush. He wasn't behind 9/11. He wasn't Hitler.

Pfft, can we move past the 3rd grade, 'everyone else did it' arguments?

As for repeating, try repeating something true.

Oh please....Here we go....Obamabots never see the wrong being done.

That's not the argument. My problem is your argument is like, "look, he's breathing, the bastard!!!" There's nothing there to be outraged over.

And yes, your list is either hyperbolic or completely false. There is no bots of any kind that make the false all of the sudden true.

No, I haven't said that...This is your hyperbole.

And yes, your list is either hyperbolic or completely false. There is no bots of any kind that make the false all of the sudden true.

Well, if that is your claim, then prove it.

Well, if that is your claim, then prove it.

No, you pick things so much the nature of all politicians that it is equal to you saying that.

And you don't prove the negative. The burden is on you, and without citing wild eyed conservative hyperbole you cannot prove any of the statements you list. There is no legislation preventing you from protecting yourself. It is completely false to even suggest anyone wants that. and you would be hard pressed to prove he wants anything.

Oh so I didn't say that, and now you are just making **** up to justify your lie about me....Got it.

Of my list the "guns" portion is the only thing you have a problem with eh? Well, we all know that progressives like you will say you don't want to take my guns, til you show up at my door to take my guns....What a joke.

Why does the right suddenly have a hard-on for this guy? This has to be like the 5th or 6th thread about the same thing.

Suddenly?

This guy never had the qualifications to be President. No foreign experience, business experience, nada,

And it's not only the American people will pay for their foolishness. The world is becoming a far more dangerous place as well. That's nothing personal against the man the way you suggest.. That's just the way it is.
