Mitch McConnell Joins Rand Paul In Supporting Industrial Hemp In Kentucky

Sure but folks will surely end up smoking rope. ;)

I agree. it's stupid not to grow it commercially. of course, I should add the caveat that I'm for full cannabis legalization, as well.

Since Oxy is the state flower of KY and Meth the state tree, I doubt that many people would even bother trying to smoke that rope....

Before comments that this belongs in the War on Drugs section, let me make a reminder that hemp is not a drug.

Also, the Kentucky AG Commissioner, as well as KY Congressmen Massie and Barr support hemp legalization. Can we do it already?

The first state that legalizes and lobby's for industrial hemp farming in the U.S. will set the stage for a massive lead in what will be a massive agricultural boom. They are smart for doing this.

All for the proposal. Best of luck to them.
