Fighting for their right to stalk and kill. How pathetic.

Re: Redding California Tea Party right to bear arms Second Amendment Rally

I have attended 2nd Amendment rallies before, I firmly believe in the right to gather in support of that Right.

What bothers me about most is there never are many people under my age there and the one's who are look like bad extras at a Deliverance revival and poster boys for double bacon wrapped cheeseburgers... I attend a lot of comps- these guys are not there.

I read an online report of the rally. Those interviewed were ALL older than me, and spouting the same rather wild claims for our President and what the 2nd A is 'for'. It always sounds out in extreme right field.

Calling a 2nd A rally 'gun' appreciation day, having a few retirees spouting off about tyrants, barely getting 'over 200' to attend in a Northern California county of 177,233 would be an epic fail if it was 'Occupy Wall Street'.

We need to stop being so dumb about the debate. No more preaching to the choir, no more talk of tyrants and fighting gubmint. President Obama surrounded himself with children, can't we find some reasonably in shape under AARP age people to speak of hunting, marksmanship comps and home defense?

2nd A supporters seem hell bent on sounding rabid and always behind the curve.

Yeah, you support the 2nd amendment, and the right to gather in support of that alright...Unless ofcourse, the bias media seeks out the most buffoonish examples of that they can find in order to paint the entire group with that broad brush, and discredit them. Classifying those who attend a 2nd amendment rally in the face of progressive, and possibly unconstitutional action by a sitting President as "...bad extras at a Deliverance revival and poster boys for double bacon wrapped cheeseburgers..." is what any rational person could only read as inflammatory, and pejorative that tips your personal hand in what you really believe. It is a truly sad display, and your not new, and well worn slurs against those of us who believe in the constitution of this country, or that our rights are granted by our creator, and not by the current tin horn dictator wanna be, are only emblematic or what Stalin referred to as "useful idiots"....

More playing the victim card? That just never gets old for you does it?

It is the bias media and my very honest appraisal of those who attended the rally with me, but look at the video of the Redding rally, not exactly an ad for Weight Watchers is it? Not exactly a diverse group is it? Their quotes are not 'gun' appreciation but Gubmint fear, perhaps that should have been the theme, We Fear the Gubmint Day...

Now you seem hung up on the word Progressive as if it is UnConstitutional. it of course isn't. You can only say POSSIBLY about the actions of the President, again weak tea at best.

No I didn't 'tip my hand'... I said it loud and proud... angry, fat, old white dudes decrying tyrants at an epic fail rally- no excuse not to have thousands, great weather, very 'gun' friendly part of cali, (I know I was in Roseville quite a bit, knew many shooters, loved the Sacramento range and deer hunting season was odd, very warm, but very well attended) 200 out of a county of 177,233...

Please, My point (which yet again you dodge), is WE need to stop the tyrant crap, stop the camouflage crap, the 'don't Tread on Me' crap. recruiting more than old fellas to attend, more wives and female shooters- I saw plenty at the Sac range. Time to step up OUR game or the issue will be lost.

No hidden agenda, I put it right out there....

Those people all looked out of control. I saw crazy eyes everywhere.

Re: Redding California Tea Party right to bear arms Second Amendment Rally

200 people? OMFG that is fail. The paintball field I used to work at got over 200 people per day on the weekends. I have seen the smallest of anime cons in the middle of nowhere pull off more than 200 people with no real guests outside of people with crappy internet blogs. My god ensign ro and some klingon extra from star trek 5 could pull in more than 1000 people to a star trek convention. 200 people in a walmart for a day is death to their store. How did they know there was a rally there at all? Most parjks i know have 200 people in them daily. My friggen high school had 200+ people in my graduating class, and we were considered the small high school of the area. Most movie theaters have more than 200 seats. we kill more than 200 people a day with drone attacks.

Just to put that pathetic number in perspective. That wasn't a rally, that was a sign that the tea party terrorists have lost. Seriously, was that a protest or a ****ty day at a local carnival after a rainstorm? If that is all the people you can draw you could be overrun by an oprah audience. You guys are going to have to do better than that because you just showed you don't have the numbers for a vote, or even to hold a revolt.

I didn't see any in the video, perhaps a few were....so Mr. Nit R. Picker, would you settle for the average 'appreciator' old enough to vote is old enough for AARP membership?
