Only to those that do not want to answer the question honestly because they know where it will lead. But just to coddle a bit...how is it an "utterly ridiculous comparison"? Every single one that I put in there, and others have also, have their own social stigmas and there are those that bully them (even to the point where the person being bullied commits suicide) and disrespect them and the kids can cause commotions (and do) about them being what they are. And when the kids mention some of those things to their parents the parents speak right up about it.

So going to answer this time? Or avoid it again?

The primary difference between a gay or Muslim teacher and a former porn star teacher is that gays and Muslims have organized for years and initiated lawsuits and in the case of gays, lobbied for protective laws. They still face discrimination, but much less than would happen without those efforts. Sex workers and sexually unconventional heteros have not been as organized and successful as these other groups, so they have no protection from arbitrary discrimination.

By the way, outing a gay person and a porn star both require someone doing some research and then ratting out the person.

By the way, do teachers have a right to advertise in sexually oriented personal adverts? Do they have a right to go to swing clubs? notorious pickup bars? Is the answer different if the teacher is gay? Is a breast flash during Spring Break caught on camera disqualify a teacher?

This situation is different. If you can't see that then you must be blind. This teacher was seen by students performing sex acts in a porno film. I don't know, maybe you've never seen a porno before so you're not familiar with them. They don't just show nudity you know. They show completely EVERYTHING and sexual acts. This is completely different than checking out a hot teacher. Maybe that wouldn't have distracted you as a boy, but I have a son, and I KNOW he would be completely distracted, and so would his friends.

Would your son be distracted by a superstar teaching class? Would you demand that superstar to be fired also? Lord knows how many movies are out there with hollywoods elite where they've been in some sort of sex scene. Also how many kids have accidently seen their parents having sex? Should we fire those parents from being around their children?

Go to your local school board and demand that they hire this lady. Start a petition in your local school district to get her hired into your local schools.

Do your best to get her a job in your local schools.

Where do they find these idiot teachers from anyway? I mean, don't you think somebody who is supposedly intelligent enough to be a teacher would realize that her former "career" was going to catch up to her eventually? She should have just gone into another line of work. That would have been a smart move on her part. If she was really smart enough to be teaching kids, then she should have known this already.

If I had been in porno as a career, I wouldn't even consider being a teacher because I would know better.

They cause a disruption then they should be punished. If a parent can't control their kid enough to make sure that they pay attention and listen to the teacher then perhaps that parent shouldn't be a parent.

And seriously...why are parents letting their 12 year old kids watch porn movies?

You can't control what is happening inside the mind of a 12-year-old boy, and having a teacher in class who they actually witnessed having sex and saw nude is going to be distracting. I don't care how much you deny that or try to justify it. Sorry, she is just not cut out for teaching children due to her past. That's life. Deal with it.
