People, even reporters, have done that kind of stunt trying to see what they could sneak thru at airports regarding TSA and sercurity.

He didn't sneak in. He was very overt in his entrance and also threatened to kill people.

No, I don't think anybody has told the TSA "I have a gun. You're dead. You're dead..."
He touched her over her bra and underpants, she says, and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear

That fact that someone would do this at all is astounding. But at an elementary school after Sandy Hook is incomprehensible. I also think the school should have handled it better. It goes on to say that they didn't call the police until he left the building.

I think he quickly told the office staff it was a test and many recognized him as a parent. But he is damn lucky indeed.

In light of the recent shooting of the school at Sandy Hook that was one dumb ass stunt. Am pretty certain there would have been plenty of dads if at the office who would have taken him out singlehandily.

This stunt would be as dumb as boarding an airplane and shouting Praise Allah.

That man is lucky.Because had the school passed his test he would have been severely injured or dead. Its troubling that he walked in with no problem no one called the cop until after he left.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

"A Texas man is facing third-degree felony charges of making a terroristic threat after he allegedly told elementary school staffers he brought a gun to the building."

Well, this is interesting. He apparently intended to utter the words that constitute a terroristic threat, but he didn't intend to actually make a terroristic threat.

After the dust settles, I think we'll see this one knocked down to misdemeanor Assault.

and what real shooter would identify himself as such and say his target was in the building? Even doing that, no one stopped him. How's that for a pathetic security system? It would be like an Al Qaeda guy standing up and shouting, "Hey! Over here! I'm a nutter suicide bomber, and I'm coming to get you!"

and the security guard standing there and saying, "Well, goll eeee! What do do now, what do do...."
Yes, that was extremely pathetic. After having worked in an elementary school for a few years, we had a plan for intruders (code red) and we had a definite plan of action. None of what happened in this instance, would have flown a millimeter. I don't understand how in this day and age, schools hadn't already protected themselves against armed intruders. It should not have taken the Hook incident to do so... they should have been doing it LONG before now. Apparently, some still aren't taking it seriously.
