well then, identify the Obama administration official who offered the criticism, if those remarks were intended for attribution - and verification
i look forward to seeing you meet this challenge
but i expect you to fail at it

Sounds kind of dismissive as a credit for leadership that the right-wing usually praises in people going for a political position.

We werent talking about leadership. We were talking about defense expertise. A general doesnt neccesarily know how to run a company. A CEO dosent neccesarily know how to run a military and advise on defense policy.

    Re: Hagel for SOD

Saturday Night Live parodies the recent confirmation hearings for Chuck Hagel. The skit was pulled before airtime. No indication how it happened, but one must suspect that the Lobby was offended.

The sketch culminates when a crotchety “Sen. John McCain” insists that Hagel answer a hypothetical question: would he agree to “go on national television and perform oral sex on a donkey” if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu determined it was vital to Israel’s security? When Hagel says no, McCain declares that he can’t vote to confirm him.

    Philip Weiss:

' A "cultural breakthrough" is Sullivan's description of the Saturday Night Live skit in which Senator John McCain challenges Chuck Hagel to agree to fellate a donkey on the orders of Benjamin Netanyahu for the security of Israel ... Even friends of mine who don't know the issue are fulminating about the Hagel hearing. And remember that those gatekeepers and lobby pooh-poohers included the Atlantic Magazine, David Remnick, Leon Wieseltier, Leslie Gelb, Walter Russell Mead, Jeffrey Goldberg, among other eminent journalists.'

More on SNL's fellate-a-donkey for Israel skit
We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq.

Benjamin Netanyahu, as quoted in Ma'ariv, 16 April, 2008

The Repubs will cave and Nominate him. McCain will even support the nomination in the End. He already did come out and state, "never has the Republican party Filibustered a Presidential nominee for office". He don't think it is time to start now.

Graham says no Confirmation until Hagel and Brennan give up more on Benghazi.....but he wont be able to sway the rest.

    Those are just facts.
    1. America's global supremacy is waning, and should wane. No one elected us kings or police of the world.
    2. The USA has far too many military bases-How many do you think we have and should have?
    3. Israel probably is guilty of war crimes. Certainly the settlements violate international law.
