Romney didn't lie either, when he promised to create 12 million jobs. He just stretched the truth, as Obama will undoubtedly do. The market will create those jobs, in spite of Washington, not because of it.
It's the problem of thinking government is iN control of these things. I keep saying the get too much blame and too much credit.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

That is a truth, Boo Radley, however, I think and believe that government does have some influence. I say some because there are caveats. The market is an impersonal dynamical force but it can be influenced by individuals, corporations, and natural events to varying or focused degrees.

I didn't say no influence. I said control. Influence is usually minor in comparison with other factors. So credit and blame are often unduly given.

YOUR THE ONE that responded to my post ,where Fenton and I was discussing KEYNESIAN ECONOMICS with this bul**** .

“Once again the revised 2009 budget with an additional 400 billion was not signed by Bush.”
Now its your turn.till me how i was “trying to pass blame rather than acknowledge reality? “
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say
