Yes, and he's done a super job. He's balanced the budget, cut the deficit in half, raised employment numbers, and so on. At least that's what he says..

I can see why, if someone was pleased with the results of his presidency, some would vote for Obama a second time, but why do you suppose they voted for him a first time?

And no, Obama is not in the same flip flop league as Romney. For the record, I merely voted for the better choice. Want another come, choose a better candidate.
You voted for a leftist because you're a leftist. That's the only criteria.

As long as the U.S. Govt stands it will make good on that debt. And we will need EVERY PENNY.

very business like; just as the reich wingers would insist government should be
because businesses keep their working capital in a lock box and never consider placing the funds where they could accrue earnings

How much does anyone want to bet that a "miraculous last minute deal" will be struck that avoids the cliff yet does absolutely nothing to address the problem? All just another well played episode of "Kick the Can", I'm afraid...
    I'm not so sure.

Obama needs a way to hide the profound negative economic impact of ObamaCare, and this would do just the trick.

the economic impact of Obamacare will be profound
    but in a positive way
every other advanced industrial nation does not saddle its employers with the cost of health care
    we did
and we did so in such a way that it cost no less than TWICE the expenditure as the next costly health care system
those costs had to be factored into every widget which was manufactured, thereby imposing a competitive disadvantage right out of the box

and now that disadvantage will disappear and our domestic businesses will be better positioned to compete with the other trading nations

According to most polls they are getting the blame.

Plus considering the election result where many "hawks" got booted or nearly booted and the GOP lost seats in both houses and never came close to beating Obama.. and that 1.5 million more American's voted for Democratic congressmen/senate candidates than GOP (and yet the GOP managed thanks to gerrymandering of districts to get 54% of the seats in the House /clap to the system)... then yes people are blaming the Republicans.

There is that whole compromise thing which is how Democracies generally work. Republicans passing a bill without even a thought of compromise is useless. Sorry, the majority in this country refuse to be dictated to by the minority.

Cheap political game. The only thing Republicans have proven themselves good at in the past 4 years is scoring cheap political points only appreciated by their gerrymandered "safe" districts.

The writing is on the wall...either help govern or the Republican party is facing some long term problems.

No, no they wont. I mean think about it, what useless lump of a President has to blame his predecessor 4 years into his Presidency ?

Now after 8 years of high unemployment, no growth and massive deficit spending you really think people are still going to blame Bush ?

And as far as the cliff is concerned its Obama's cliff and the only Americans dumb enough to blame this on the Republicans dont deserve consideration anyway.
