No we need to ban cars and trucks or roads because taking things away from people who do nothing wrong makes the most sense :roll:

Shall we expect another NRA plan for this type of shooting by next Friday? For every acre of public space, does the NRA purpose we assign 1 police officer or retired military armed?
 
Before we go all hogwild here, could this be related to the date and Mayan prediction hammered upon for the last year by the media?

Install guns on cars, guns on buildings, guns on trees with cameras.. Then put guns on the guns so that the guns can protect themselves from other guns.. Then, you need to have guns pointed at those guns to protect themselves from themselves and other guns guns.

Turn the horse into hamburgers and sell it to the liberals for a profit :shock:

You cannot defend against every conceivable bad thing that bad people do, and certainly punishing those who are not bad people instead of subsidizing bad behavior may not be a good starting point.

There is actually an irony here. This mass shooting happened at the same time the NRA was holding their press conference in which they called for armed personnel in every school.

It would be harder to do a driveby with no cars or roads. With 300 Million guns out there, the "go after the guns" side is quite unrealistic a solution to crime. It is political masturbation.

"WENTZVILLE, Mo. (AP) - A Wentzville man is jailed after allegedly becoming agitated during a barber shop discussion of the Newtown, Conn., shooting and allegedly shooting in the direction of a patron.

Assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a weapon charges were filed against 57-year-old Lester Davis of Wentzville following the shooting Tuesday at All Cuts Barber Shop in Wentzville.

A patron made the comment that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School made him want to kill the suspect. For unknown reasons, police say Davis took the comment as a threat and asked, “You want to murder me?”

Davis then allegedly went to his car, retrieved a pistol and fired three times in the customer’s direction. No one was hurt."

I'm thinking it's related to generally insane state of people in our society these days.
 
Obama and the loons want all rape victims unable to defend themselves.

The liberals want the type of American men that will take guns away from their wives, their daughters, even their mothers and hand them to the government.

I agree with that somewhat. Folks are higly stressed right now in general. Poor economy, transportation and food prices climbing, the most stressful of holiday seasons upon us and major changes being hotly debated. Add in the media's perchant for stoking the fires unceasingly, and you have a recipe for the wacky few to explode in messy fashion.

As much as I hate to say it, we've had it too easy, for too long. People don't understand how to live and survive anymore in tough times, and imo, it's to our detriment generally.

I get the sense that somewhere along the line we stopped working for the future and instead concentrate on featherbedding today.

Yes they are. More people are living in poverty, on unemployment, on food stamps, on disability, and on social security. When that many people are having to look toward goverment, for their ability to survive, things are indeed worse.
