Lol Obama has already budged and he shouldnt have. What the republicans need to understand is one they created this mess with trickle down economics. Two it is not the pooor that hurt this country it was a huge defence budget and tax cuts for people that did not need them. Three the alignment with the teabaggers who are nothing more than nitwit ideologs that do not know a damn thing about history. The only party that has driven this country into the groud is the one that contains a bunch of angry old white men.

Your posting is really little more than stereo typical Rachel Maddow blather...No basis in fact, steeped in far left ideology...You have the gall to label people you don't know as 'angry old white men', yet your own postings are dripping with hate.

    I'll pray for you.

So far your presence in this board has been nothing but trolling, and radical leftist talking points....Tell you what, if I want to hear anything you have to say from now on I can just tune to MSNBC, or XM Left on the radio. It's all the same BS.

    QUOTE Fenton;

The cliff is a manufactured construct to force the Republicans to do something stupid.
    Looks like it worked.

Raise taxes AT ALL during a down economy to combat massive Federal spending.
Good. glad you agree, we'll just raise taxes on about 2 percent then.

Its all just a bunch of BS. Raising taxes on the rich accomplishes nothing when Obama should be focusing on ways to incentivize our private sector.

Sure it does...it starts paying for the wars that were put on the national credit card.it also helps pay the bill for the prescription drug plan that helps some of us old birds.

But no, he would rather push this eat the rich nqrrative
Hhmm... “nqrrative” must be some kinda exotic spice eh?

and play politics with peoples lives rather than focus on real and positive plans to improve the American economy.
Speaking of playing politics. What was the number of filibusters in the Senate this year? Also ,would you call a Senator that filibustered his own bill “playing politics“?

How could you be OK with this ?
Because it gets money into the treasury from those that can afford it the most.

I didn't have you pegged as one of those left wing idiots who're for fleecing rich people because it's "fair".
When all else fails resort to add homs eh?Kinda sad.

It is the Marxist's economy. He and his enablers share in the blame.

Your making progress...of sorts. In the olden days you called him the oneterm marxist's (with the small m)now you make it a Cap M,AND you dropped the oneterm. Who knows,if you hurry you might even be able to learn the definition of Marxist before his second term is over. Not likely though.

I am so confused... what do they want to see happen?

They took a pledge to not raise taxes, but if they do nothing... everybody's taxes will go up. Do they want everybody's taxes to increase????

Now we have to find a way to defeat him. We need someone with conservative principles. We need someone who is articulate. Boehner is neither principled nor articulate.

This is a very good evening for America.
The tea party lost long ago, and now it's dragging the GOP down with it now...

It would be great to never hear names like Boehner, McCain, Rubio, Jindal, Christie, LindseyGraham, etc., etc. again. They are people without a party, without a country.
What did Graham, Rubio, and Jindal do?
