Yes, Obama played a cynical game with the American people when he and Reid wrote the sequester...Obama knew all along that he would just force that through and blame it on Repubs....What a joke...On the other hand we are in rough shape as a party, and really don't have any good options.

We need to be more like demo's in one respect, pin the blame where it belongs, on Obama....

There was a report that Boehner and Obama were talking when Boehner told Obama that he had already put $800 Billion on the table, Obama replied with "I get that for free"....Obama was never serious. He wants the cliff...He is going to ruin this country...Congrats demo's.

Taken thing a bit outta context arnt ya om?

When Boehner asked Obama if they agree on a deal along the same lines as the one he walked away from during the 2011 talks, according to the paper,

BO retorted: “You missed your opportunity on that.”
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

My point exactly...This isn't some coke deal Obama was making like he did when he was younger, it is with the economic well being of the country at stake....And he plays games? And liberals like you cheer it on....Good God....We are really screwed, if children like today's radical liberal progressive trash is in control.

You got it backwards. The deal was on the table LAST YEAR. Bohner is the one playing games. When was the last time you filled up your truck and went into pay for it, said i want last years fuel price instead of the posted price? That was a last years shot, bohner blew it up.BO also said that he is through negotiating with himself.I guess tanman didn't believe him.

Wow, that's nice revision....Surely you haven't forgotten that quickly...They had reached a deal for $500 Billion, (I think) when Obama returned the next morning and demanded $800 Billion....Now he is doubling that....What a douche.
