Bin Laden film attacked for 'perpetuating torture myth'

You seems quite confident of this claim.

I'll wager that in 20 minutes alone with you, you'll tell me everything I ever wanted to know about you, your family and what your pin codes might be.

His claim was that you could get that information without torture. In fact, we do get good information without torture. Torture is the most ineffective method used. Google al Libi to see why. :coffeepap

Assume this is your confession and not a lame attempt to avoid the points presented.

:coffeepap

What points were those? I asked for a concrete example of Bush lying and you gave me vagaries.

You know, once the President has made a policy decision he's allowed to try to sell it. He can present the points that he thinks supports his ideas. It's not lying just because you disagree with the policy.

By the way, lying is intentionally providing false information with the intent to deceive. Telling people what you and everyone else knows to be true at the time isn't a lie.

But whatever, you know, I have no hope of convincing Bush haters of anything. Like you say, some people will never look at the matter honestly.

You're too kind. Growing and gathering requires there actually be growth. Gathering requires something to be gathered. This is pretty specific, as was the inappropriate use of intel: specifically al Libi, Chalibi and his heros in error, curveball, and ignore evidence to the contrary.

Just so we're clear....

That silliness hasn't worked in the past and don't work now. I've linked enough how much of that is out of context. Sorry.

Can't live up to the truth can you....Demo's were all about screaming about Saddam's WMD's and couldn't give the authority to Bush fast enough to invade, until it became politically expedient to oppose it, then like the disingenuous liars they are they flipped on a dime, and you carry their water...

J, we've been here before. We can read Kerry saying clear Saddam did not meet the threat level and that he fight Bush if he went in unilateral. We can put those words in context and time period. We can out republican votes versus democrat votes. But supporters have never been honest about this.

Hmmm...I don't see Kerry's name as voting against the AUMF... Why do you suppose that is? After all you said this...

Yes, his name was, with his statement. Again stuff we've covered before.

Oh I see, so he voted for the AUMF, but made a statement that he was against it....:lamo come on man, You're going to have to do better....:lamo

Again, we've covered this ground. He Mae a clear statement. You've seen it before.

Was that before or after he voted to give Bush the authority to invade Iraq?

As he was doing it. He tried to clarify what he meant by the vote. Referenced Bush keeping his word, silly fellow. But again, you've seen it before.

That's impressive, saying one thing as you vote the opposite way...And you bought it?...

Depends on what you mean by bought. He played. Political game, as folks speaking out had lost their seats, but his statement is clear

Yeah, clear as mud...."I was against it before I was for it..." or is that the other way around....:lamo

Do you windsurf too?

Do you windsurf too?

Another place where understanding takes a back seat pretense. He laid out his position very clear.

:lamo Oh man....Stop....:lamo You're killin' me.....:lamo

Not sure you ever tackle topics seriously, but clearly you have stopped here. Again, an avoidance tactic.

Notice how you changed the wording. They believed, as I said, that he had some left over weapons. Not growing and gathering. You have it wrong, and deliberately changed the wording of my claim. This suggests you even know yourself.

That's false. Are you genuinely unfamiliar with the statements of those, including Clinton and Gore, who believe Saddam had WMD??

You seems quite confident of this claim.

I'll wager that in 20 minutes alone with you, you'll tell me everything I ever wanted to know about you, your family and what your pin codes might be.

If it's just me and you alone, I'd like to see it.

Can you provide a concrete example of what you are talking about when you say that Bush lied?

It's just my opinion, but Bush has more moral core in his discarded toenail clippings than all the liberals in the universe have put together.

And it's been 12 years since a major terrorist attack, and the current President is pretty much following the previous President's policies on the WoT all down the line. So much for more harm than good.

The shorter list would be when Bush actually told the truth.

Cripes, he even lied about seeing the first airplane strike the towers--few people saw it because it was not televised.

He lied about Iraq and its being a threat to this country. Weapons of Mass Deception sir, and Obama governs like Bush on steroids!

Watch out dude, he is one internet billy bad ass...Threatened to kick my ass if I ever came to Texas, in a PM.

I do that when cowards call me a wetback like you did. I imagine you and Grant are one in the same, all mouth!
