Go ahead. But don't criticize others who wish to discuss the information as it comes out.
"Speaking from her home near Chicago, Marsha Lanza, 57, said: 'She was stockpiling food. We talked about prepping a lot. She was getting ready for the economic collapse.'
The woman's sister, who talked with her "a lot" about stockpiling food and "prepping" is now a dubious witness.
Nope, not "dubious". Just uncorroborated.
Oh, I'm not criticizing anyone who wants to discuss this junk. Just pointing out why I won't.
You have A funny way of not discussing "this junk".
So what do you have that indicates she is lying about her sister who is lying in a morgue with 5 bullets in her face?
You have a funny way of misinterpreting my words.
Of course, I discussed this junk...at least to a point. Read my first post. But nowhere in my first post did I say anything about forum members who are discussing this junk.
Don't be so defensive, dude.
I'm not positive, but it seems to me that you are posting this to somehow cast her as a nutjob.
Since when has preparing for disaster become a sign of being a nutjob?
So, she had guns. NSS (No **** Sherlock). Take a look at Katrina, Sandy, hell just about any major broad area disaster, there has been raping, looting, murder, theft, etc. So she had handguns, again NSS. Have you ever tried to work with a rifle strapped to your back or stay within easy reach of it? That is the major reason Cowboys and others in the past carried a handgun, it made it readily available and allowed you do other things at the same time, not to mention, usually much lighter to carry. Even today, if I have to go to remote areas to fix fencing or do other chores, a rifle is too cumbersome. A handgun, you strap it on and go, knowing it is always there and in easy reach.
I'm not defensive, I think it's funny when people engage in cognitive dissonance. The very fact you are here telling people they should wait before they believe initial reports coming out IS engaging in the discourse.
And what's even funnier is how you believe the official report is going to tell the whole truth.

I don't think you used that term correctly. What does it mean?
Im not your go-fer. Do your own research.
LOL.... ah hah, I was right.
Bummer Story! Not Janie got her gun, but Adam got the gun and shot her in bed, wow.
A potion of pharmaceuticals and mental stress induces radical behavior. Whouda thunk?
So what do you have that indicates she is lying about her sister who is lying in a morgue with 5 bullets in her face?
I didn't say it was just one media source. I was referring solely to the OP article cited, which cites a single interview with a family member, with no corroboration.
ADDED: A quick search of other news articles alleging that she was a prepper are all referring ONLY to a single interview with Marsh Lanza, the woman's sister-in-law.
Multiple news sources repeating the words of one individual is NOT corroboration. Once additional individuals confirm the information of Marsh Lanza, then we can reasonably discuss what effect being a prepper may have had on her son.
That isn't the issue though, is it? The issue is how her beliefs might have influenced her obviously compromised son.
No one has even got into what mixture of mind bending drugs the disturbed kid might have been on.
Uhhh, no. I posted an article of an interview with her seemingly close sister. Whether or not she was a nutjob is up to reader but personally I think that horse has left the barn.
What, that I'm not you're lawn jockey? If you think I used the term incorrectly then it's up to you to make that case.
The very fact you are here telling people they should wait before they believe initial reports coming out IS engaging in the discourse.
