I am not aware of any Republican or Boehner proposal on entitlements.

    Can anyone produce that?

That's a strange declaration given that you know virtually no details of the offer.

This OP is doing EXACTLY THE SAME THING as Obama is accused of "Obama won't take every proposal from Boehner and sign it into law!"
No, this is a perfect example of how the media lies and claims republicans come up with nothing, when they do all the time but Obama just shoots down the proposals.

Obama's not willing to compromise on anything - it's his way or no way.

Hell the republicans could probable draw up a plan identical to his own and he would still deny it because it was presented by republicans. What Obama wants is for the democrats to draft proposals and wants republicans to say "yes master."

Obama is seriously a psychopath. "you don't offer me a cookie - I offer you a cookie" that is pretty much his pathology. He want's to look like a great savior and when his stupid plans fail he goes blaming everyone but his own remedial self.

    Let me re-iterate this.

You don't even know what was rejected. You have no ability to declare he was offered everything he wanted.

Oh I know plenty, most notably Obama wants a higher tax rate on anyone making $250,000 a year, while republicans argue (and rightly so) it should be $1,000,000 a year.

That is pretty much the meat of the differences.

There are several problems with the 250,000 proposal by Obama. Hell there are dozens of problems with our tax code that make both proposals semi-retarded.

We are negotiating with ourselves people. Obama has NO sign that he is willing to negotiate in good faith at all, it is his way or the highway....I say pass a tax cut on the three bottom tax tiers, and keep the top two the same, pass it in the house, dump it on Reid's desk, and go home.
This is the right wing attitude we should all embrace if we are moderates or liberals. It's the kind that will lead the Republicans to eventually going the way of the Whigs. Don't Ever Change!

I know exactly what was rejected read my previous post.

Don't tell me what I know and what I don't know - unlike you I just don't read headlines and form my conclusion based on that alone.

Obama has no reason to negotiate to get what he wants, he gets what he wants--a tax hike on the rich--on Jan 1, 2013. Boehner should publically say he is prepared to accept the tax hikes on the rich if Obama comes up with his promised 'balanced approach' of $800 billion in spending cuts. If Obama refuses, then we go over the cliff.

    That would be utterly stupid.

Republicans want to keep the same rate on those making LESS THAN $1,000,000 a year to continue at the same tax level then up taxes on those who make a million or more.

Then of course democrats have the audacity to claim republicans are at war with the middle class, when the republicans are tying to keep the tax rate on those making less than a million the same? while democrats want to increase those taxes.
