LOL. My unle used to own/run an auction business. And all the time some old person dies and along with it the comb to the safe(s). I'm sure I've busted more open than you have ever seen in real life.

Gun shops and ranges never get held up during business hours. If you ever saw Chuck Norris's film about corrupt cops-I believe it was called code of silence, a bunch of cops are in a bar for a retirement party or something and two tweakers come in and announce a hold up only to have about 15 people stick 38 snubbies in their faces

    Moderator's Warning:
Two Gunmen at Newtown, Conn., Elementary School Shooting, One Dead [W:449/490/584]Okay. That's enough personal attacks out of everyone.

That includes accusing each other of having "blood on their hands" because of their political views or for any other reason. Nobody on this forum killed a classroom full of children, and we are not about to start tolerating accusations to the contrary.

I didn't call you personally anything. The You in the last line is a qualified general use of the word, targeted at all gun haters, not you specifically. It is not a personal attack, since you (and yes I mean you as in Uzidoesit) decide whether you qualify or not, not me.

My apologies if that caused confusion. It was not my intent to attack you personally.

Nice try kiddo. Those little paper safes you probably saw on one of those storage locker TV shows are not gun safes. I've done my share of auction buying over the years, all you have to do to open the paper safes is to drop them on their corner with some force. Gun safes aren't near that easy to breach.

Ya, everyone with common sense buys safes that are worth more than what they have inside them. Safes aren't secure in the least. All they do is slow someone down. This kid would have had at least 24 hours to do whatever he wanted after he offed his mom.

And they will continue to occur and safe and unsafe areas.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

To me you're asking us to go back to the Middle Ages to punish crimes. Needless to say your suggestion will never, ever even be discussed in any serious government discussion on the penal system, thank God.
Well that aint eye for an eye is it? Also, please change your lean from liberal to something else. Tired of infiltrators pretending to be for liberalism.

You have such a liberal attitude. /sarcasm With your stances on guncontrol and getting to chose for other people you sound like a closet conservative.

The tactic of disarming law abiding citizens and employing "gun safe zones" will only lead to more mass shootings, like the one yesterday.

Take for example the shooters mother. She owned those guns legally. Well guess what, she was disarmed by YOUR GUN CONTROL laws. Guess what happened?

If that sign was up chances are they would have to move on to retirement homes.

Tell me, how exactly are you going to take away those guns? I own several, you are welcome to come try to take them away, but I warn you before hand, I will defend my right to keep them. Unfortunately for you fantasy of getting rid of them, there are approximately 100 million or more of us who own them and will fight to keep them. So how exactly do you plan to accomplish such a feat? Use the military? One, they are prohibited by law from performing law enforcement inside the US. Two, how many of them are gun owners who will fight to keep them?

How many of those murders were committed with guns obtained illegally? How many would of occurred if the victims were armed and able to defend themselves? What was the occurrence rate of such crimes when most of America was armed vs the occurrence rates after gun laws came into affect? How many of those countries had our level of ownership and successfully took them away? How will people defend themselves if guns are taken made illegal? What exactly are the chances of pushing through a constitutional amendment that would be necessary even to bring about such laws? How is that so many liberals think they can bring the absolution of guns in America without a Revolution/Civil War occurring?
So you're saying that if laws are changed regarding gun ownership that you disagree with you will use your gun illegally to shoot people if the law requires you to forfeit your weapon? Am I understanding your post properly? If a police officer came to confiscate your gun(s) you will shoot and kill him so you can keep your guns?
