Michigan's Snyder pays a price for anti-union law

. . . in hypothetical matchups, Snyder "trails every Democrat we tested against him," even though the leading Democratic candidates aren't especially well known statewide (not one has name recognition above 50%).

Snyder still has two years before he'll face voters again, which is obviously an enormous amount of time in the context of campaign politics. But it's clear the governor's standing has plummeted, and would have been far stronger had he kept his word to his constituents.

Still dodging the question, I see. Is this because you know full well that RTW is nothing more than insidiously violent union-busting machination promoted by the Kochs, and thus you will not answer the question because you know I will bury you if you do, or because you really have no idea what you're talking about?

Crowder may be an ass-clown, but I'm sure he knows what RTW is really all about. Therefore, he is knowingly and consciously misleading the People and deliberately undermining the ability of middle class union workers (and middle class non-union workers as well) to earn a decent living.

In other words, he is an amoral mouthpiece for the upper class elite who uses his petty position with Faux News to spew malice and deceit. He came looking for trouble amongst the middle class and he found it.

Isn't that right?

No one is forced to join a union. However, any scab who is enjoying a union wage but does not wish to join the union (for whatever reason) is typically required to pay a negotiation fee in lieu of union dues (usually set at 85%). This is only fair since it is the union who negotiated the wage which the scab is enjoying. What RTW law does is allow the scab to enjoy the union wage without paying any negotiation fee. Thus, he not only enjoys a free ride at the union's expense, but he actually enjoys a higher net income than dues-paying union members. All for doing nothing more than being a scab.

Get it now?

Maybe they do, maybe they don't, I am not intimately familiar with all of their holdings. doesn't matter though. Unions ultimately break the bank of the businesses they parasite off of. Not to mention their mob thug like tactics, lack of transparency, and mandatory contribution, and forced work for demo candidates, American's and business is fed up with their crap.

Not exactly. It is free-loading and moral thievery. For a scab to accept a wage rate that he did nothing to procure is free-loading and thievery. However, you could argue that it is extortion-by-proxy since the scab would be using the political muscle of the Koch Bros. (and media ass-clowns like Chowder) to obtain a wage rate that he does not deserve.

If the employer pays a wage amount to do the job, and the non union person does the job, he gets the wage. Regardless of your name calling, and whining. Unions are a losing proposition.

How did labor unions come about, smart guy? What could possibly have been the motivating force for the inception of the labor movement? What most significant economic manifestation gave rise to the consumer-based economy, the evolution of what we now regard as the middle class American lifestyle, and brought about the ultimate defeat of communism throughout the world?

Do you know anything about the history of organized labor? I do not give a whit what sort of front you present to me or the rest of DP. I'm aware that you don't know your thumb from your d*ck; but you need to be honest with yourself, here and now, especially if you are middle class. Your future and the future of your children depends upon it.

Recognize this most basic reality: VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE

Chowder, and the Koch Bros., and the AFP were behaving VIOLENTLY. Albeit, they were not using their fists to behave violently. No, they were using their money and their power and their political influence and their control over mass news media to behave in a most insidiously violent way against middle class people who do not have such lethal weapons at their disposal. This was not even close to a fair fight, so don't you dare preach to me about violence.
