It really comes down to weather or not you want a big government when it comes to the republican party, conservative party, classical liberal party, libertarian party etc...

We don't care about trivial issues like race - that's the crap progressives obsess about not us...
Republicans care enough to try disenfranchise black voters with voter suppression laws.

BTW, it's obvious you haven't a clue what yer talkin about because you spelled "whether" wrong. Touché lol

    I totally agree...

Of course these issues are relevant, however they're not at the forefront of the republican/conservative philosophy. Honestly, these social issues wouldn't even be an issue if democrats didn't make them an issue.

Morals and ethics have been debated for a long time - but it is all philosophy, but I suppose people vote with their morals, and I can't blame them. We're all taught different angles, and there are 300,000,000 different opinions in the United States and the majority of them are based on morals... That is one of the biggest problems today. People need to realize the difference between morals and ethics.

Aw, come on Grant I expected better from you....though I'm not sure why. This is a tired old argument brought up Conservatives who are either in denial or clueless about their own political history.

Southern Democrats started leaving the party in the 1960s because LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act into law. In the 1970 - 1980s the Neo Conservatives left the Democrat party because they thought Jimmy Carter was too weak on military expansion and defense. Why don't you try reading something besides right wing propaganda and revisionist history? That stuff will rot yer brain.

What voter suppression laws? like having an ID?

People should need an ID to vote! Whats to stop people from voting millions of times not to mention those ineligible to vote?

    Your arrogance is astounding.

I'm getting sick of progressives attempting to re-write history.

Why don't you list some citations of the evil "republicans" have allegedly done or attempted to do instead of claiming you know history (which you obviously don't)...

Sorry but in educated adultland you need to prove your assertions - you just cant assert.

    Um, it's a Federal offense?

I kinda like the Attorney General's idea of having a national standard for voting in federal elections.....

LOL You're getting sick? Hey, why don't you try explaining why there isn't one single black person in the current Republican congress?

You're right - voter fraud is a federal offense that is why we need voter ID laws.

Democrats are only opposed because they goddamn well know voter fraud wins them elections.

There are black republicans, democrats just degrade them.

Democrats treat black republicans like second class citizens. It's disgusting how vile and putrid democrats are to minorities, woman and faith based individuals who go against the grain.

Democrats act like they own every individual who is not a white male Christian or rich individual and everyone who doesn't fall into that category is somehow a "traitor" or "uncle tom."

It really goes to show how much respect you progressives have for individuals...

No, they win elections because Republicans inspire people to vote against them.
