Didn't answer the question. It's ok, I never expected you to. There's this thing called cognitive dissonance.

In the private unions no one is forced to join a union. There is union/non-union of just about every trade out there. If you don't like the benefits a union brings to you then get work through non-union trades.

Texas was controlled by democrats from the end of the reconstruction period, until the 1980's. The Texas Right To Work law was passed in 1947.

As I pointed out and you ignored less than 500,000 people in a labor force of 11 million are making TX minimum wage. Any idea who those 500,000 are and why is this an issue for you as obviously you have no idea what their cost of living is nor any other financial obligations. Just like a typical liberal however you know what is best for someone else.

You also ran from the issue of moving out of the state if you don't like what is going on here.

Lizze everyone in Texas understands that. They also understand that the Democrats that passed that law are the same one that fought segregation and every other civil rights issue that came down the pike. They were Democrats and then went Republican and raised their children as bible thumpers that are now in control of Perry and some of Texas. The great thing is that it pretty much run out of steam and the state is 4 years away from being blue. Hopefully right to work will go away.

I cant stop laughing at this post! Like I said before and will say again Perry has created more minimum wage jobs in America. The main reason he had to use stimulus money from Obama was to get the budget balanced. He has wasted alot of money on his corporate cronies in the past. You do not seem to grasp the concept I am talking about job creation compared to the rest of the nation. Texas is a service driven economy

You are absolutely unbelieveable, what is it about liberalism that creates this kind of loyalty. There are 1.5 million minimum wage workers in California so where is your outrage? Do you make minimum wage? If so, why and if not why is this an issue for you?

All I see from you is someone baiting and trolling while spouting opinions on subjects that you have no understanding about. You hate the state you live in which bodes again the question why stay here? Obviously you have no concept of personal responsibility, have no idea why Fortune 500 companies are moving to TX none of which pay minimum wage, nor do you understand basic economics. You have found the political ideology that matches your abilities and skill set.

By the way, thanks for the good laugh at the 2009 article you referenced. Says a lot about you, this is 2012.

How can I be trolling when I am psting article that go right along with the topic and show the income dfferance in rigth to work states and the fact that Perry has created a bunch of low paying bad benefit working jobs in Texas. The fact is you cannot come up with a better arguement. You somehow got it in your head that I am worried about California. I could careless I am worried about the future of texas and the bozo that support and run the Republican party in my state.

You have lost this discussion and say I am trolling yeah riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

By the was Texas has a population just over 25 million and California is just under 38 million so your comparison of the two staes doesnt pass the math either. I guess you alos agree with Texas xhanging history books to. Just another reason why Texas has education problems
