Obama should have known that the Muslim Brotherhood is a barbaric anti-west terrorist organization that is hell bent on killing every non-orthodox Muslim, every US citizen, every Jew and Christian possible... Funny how I know the morals and ethics of the Muslim Brotherhood yet Obama doesn't?

Yes food prices have come down because Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood
have made it so with their subsidies; how long does that last? Tourism is
down what - 50% - and was a huge contribution to their economy. Oil prices
are in decline so they don't have as much of that money either.

They have a population that requires about 90% of their food be imported
I think - maybe its 85% not sure; but they produce very little for themselves
and MUST buy outside the country. Russia pretty much cut them out for
4 months and they had to buy from the world market at costs that
put them close to bankruptcy. I think if you don't realize how scared some
where you may have never been without food for a while?

Yep.. I lived in the ME for 20 years and I have known hundreds of Salafi. I know who Sayeed Qutb was.. when he was alive .. He did hate the West.. and look where it got him. He was unschooled in Islam to begin with.

Salafi are NOT MB..and the MB have evolved and matured since the 1960s.

The MB have not committed any violent acts since 1971..

Bin Laden had no scholarship either... he invented his own religion.

So tell me where you lived in the ME and for how many years.

Egypt imports 40% of its food.

Tourism generates 5 billion a year.. The Suez Canal generates 5 billion a year and remitances from Egyptians working in Saudi Arabia generates 8 billion a year..

I would guess that tourism is DEAD.

No conservative blogs please, also your article doesn't say there's any famine or starvation it talks about a "slide towards starvation" however thats not the same and against its a conservative website.

What you have to do is rethink what you believe about Shariah law..

It doesn't mean women can't drive or go to school or work or mix socially with men. It doesn't mean they have to wear veils or Abayas.. It doesn't mean religious fanaticism or extremism..

Westerners have been sold such a bill of goods from ignorant haters...

But that is exactly what it means in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and other Muslim countries throughout the Middle East and Central Asia. :shrug:

Islam is not monolithic and Sharia law is interpreted differently in Sudan or Afghanistan than it is in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait or Qatar.

Your response was cpompletely unrelated to my post and question.

You said that the Constitution was secular and I said, which we know to be true, that the Muslim Brotherhood is changing that Constitution.

You then begin defending Sharia Law, despite my not mentioning it at all.

It seems we both agree that Egypt will come under the control of Muslims, Sharia law, and will no longer be a secular state. Would that be correct?

However it seems that if Muslims do get control over a pluralistic society, it will no long remain a pluralistic society.
