It's a stupid picture, by a stupid person.

    Whoop dee ****ing doo

She has the right to do what she did and I'm not even upset by it one little bit.

Her employer also has the right to fire her for what she did, I don't support that firing, I don't think she should be fired for what she did but in the end when an employer wants to create a certain image, when it doesn't want it's customers associating the actions of one of its employees to it's business practice, they have the right to fire employees who stray from said image... and now especially since it's all over the news, it almost gives the employer more reason to dismiss her.

This to me is no different than employers firing people over political beliefs. It seems like a blatant violation of a person's rights. Right up there with employers threatening firings if Obama is reelected. The question really is: Did she do this while on work hours or did she do this after? If it's after, the employer firing her just seems to be bowing down to the 'MURICA crowd. If it's during work hours, then the employer has every right to fire her as she clearly made her actions a liability to the company's image.

Perhaps her employers were within their rights to fire the ignoramus, or do rights only work one way?

Then I guess someone who works for a company that represents minorities and democrats should be allowed to on company time post this picture on his facebook account for the world to see. After all its just silly humor,so who cares.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

She shouldn't even be given the honor of caring a rats ass what happens to her.

I think that her employer has a right to do so, if it was clearly delineated in their employee guidelines, yes, absolutely.

I think she'll be grateful when her "15 minutes" are over. Meanwhile, she has resigned her position, and I'd like to think that she's a "sadder but wiser girl."

What does bowing down to the 'MURICA slurpers have to do with being within your rights? Being within your rights can still make a person look like an idiot. For example, people like Romney have the right to claim they're "Social Conservatives", however when every single thing they've said in 2-10 years shows the opposite, they just look like idiots.

I agree with this pretty much to the letter. I don't think she should have been fired and see it as no big deal, but I also respect her employer's rights to hire and fire.
