So...no one realy knows, ore even has much of a clue as to the real time costs "Obama care" is going to impose...so all of these instances are likely little more than knee jerk...emphasis on JERK...reactions by politically minded business owners, just to make a point. I wonder who's mouth is going to end up eating all these feet?

perhaps this will help from the Wikipedia entry on the topic?

    Vulture capitalist
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A vulture capitalist is an investor who used the clauses of the terms of an investment deal in a company to seize ownership of the company or valuable parts of it outright.[1][2] Whereas a venture capitalist invests in a company likely to succeed in the marketplace and hence show a profit to the investor, a vulture capitalist looks to invest in a firm likely to fail to show a profit in the near term, triggering the takeover clauses, resulting in forfeiture of some or all the assets of the company, with an eye towards selling off the constituent parts, hence showing a profit while destroying or hobbling the company.[1][2]

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

The first time I heard the expression was when Rick Santorum applied it to Mitt Romney during the primaries.

Now that you've explained yourself, I would not agree that such an investor is a parasite. Generally I don't regard investing one's money in companies, however unhealthy, to be parasitic.

Which is your right. Thankfully others do not see it that way and they have been exposed for the enemy of the people that they are.

So now can you tell us who Parasite Nation actually is and who comprises it?

An investor buys a company from people who voluntarily sell him it to him. An investor doesn't take anything from anyone that he has not purchased.

I imagine that zimmer was referring to those who take more from the government than they contribute. At least that's how I've heard the term used before.

And how is that measured exactly? Over what period of time? What is the formula?
