Anders Breivik claims conditions in Norwegian prison 'violate his human rights'

He will stay in prison longer than 21 years that is for sure. No way they are releasing him.

I'm not so confident... if he puts on a good show they might release him when he's an older man.

The Germans released terrorists from the Rote Armei Faktion (RAF) that killed and terrorized.
25-years and out... even though they were supposed to spend life in prison.
That was dangerous because I can see a Muslim terrorist being jailed in Germany for like crimes, and after 25-years he has a case to mount for his release.
His lawyer would proclaim Germany racist if they didn't release him; and with Germany's history that's not exactly a comforting thought for them

The system he complained.

Ikea makes prison cells now?

I wonder if the same thing was said about Varg Vikernes.

While the sentence is somewhat misleading (he'll never actually leave prison), I'd hope that an "accident" would happen at some point during his incarceration.

That is only assuming Breivik doesn't change his ways and in 21 years they still find him a threat.

He got 21 years sentence for killing 80 people.

A

Given what he said about the Norwegian prison system in the past when he mocked the paucity of his sentence I actually wouldn't be surprised if he is just saying this to cause trouble and make people reflect on how comfortable his environment really is.

Breivik should have been sentenced in Russia. That way he would have been tortured and executed.

And the US puts innocent people in jail and executes a few too. Oh and the 3 strikes rule is idiotic and is only filling up jails with offenders that commit minor crimes. The US system creates more harden criminals with its pathetic system.

3 Felonies. You would think after 2 you would wise up.

I would agree if it was 3 almost right after each other.. but we both know the law does not account for that...

If you are so stupid as to commit three felonies in your life... then you need be removed from the gene pool.

Why do you think that? Their law requires the maximum penalty be 21 years in prison. When he gets out he will probably kill some more people.

hope you enjoy paying taxes

LOL you are seriously comparing Varg Vikernes to Brevik? How many people did Varg kill?

A system that litterally coddles murdering scumbags and let them out doesn't give a rats about the victims. So how many people Brevik killed is irrelevent to Norway's justice system. So when Brevik gets bored he will pretend to have changed his ways and Norway will let him go free.

Well Norway's prisons are one of the most "luxurious" and nicest in the world so i think Brevik needs to come back to reality (oh wait he never was in reality)

Exactly. Great food, dorm-like facility with nice furniture and a kitchen, he can read, participate in fun activities, and he's surrounded by beautiful Scandinavian women. Where do I sign up?
