Robert Murray, the chief executive of Ohio-based coal provider Murray Energy, began laying off a small number of employees this week after Republican challenger Mitt Romney lost his bid for the White House.

The privately-held company, which had about 3,500 employees before the layoffs began, fired more than 150 employees at three locations this week. A spokesman, Gary Broadbent, said the layoffs were ongoing and these were just the latest announcements.

The layoff notices blamed Obama’s “war on coal” for the job cuts.

The layoffs have nothing to do with the election, and owner is lying about the cause, which is cheap natural gas.

1 Trillion on 2 wars across a decade, versus Obama's 6 trillion more in 4 years - and of course you blame Bush and the military for the debt.

I didn't ask for that - did you even read my post? Obviously not. Where EXACTLY did I ask for specifically that?

I never once doubted that Boeing planned the layoffs for two years. I even said that I knew about it.

My ENTIRE point was that the Obama admin. asked Boeing to delay the date for the latest layoff until after the election. Even if it was for only one day.

I asked for proof that they did not in fact do that...Sheesh.
