We can't just keep having expensive wars so they can keep making military equipment. It is true, they cannot afford to pay health care for useless managers on top of their salary. So they make themselves more efficient and are not overblown.

It is the correction America needs to be leaner and more efficient. It is time for people to work, and if you can't do that then you don't deserve the big salary. The useless can sit at home and live off of welfare. they can sell their big cars, huge houses, and live in section 8 housing. With less people there Boeing and other companies will actually have to keep their hard workers. Lean companies have no use for the guys who spend more time and effort trying to figure out how to not work. After years of covering for their useless asses while they make the same or more than I do for far less work, I don't give a **** if they rot in the gutters with the other useless people.

Let me put the hierarchy of uselessness in simple terms for you.

You have the workers who 50 percent are useful. Then you have a team lead who manages the workers and issues. They normally get the brunt of the work put on them. Then you have a stupidvisor for your department. They pretty much are a copy of the team lead, but their job is to go to meetings while the team lead does the work. Then you have a multi-department stupidvisor. This person doesn't talk to employees, and they pretty much kiss the ass of some VP at meetings. They do some budgeting, but often that falls down on the recommendations of the team lead. Then you start getting into the executive level. The executives have concerns about expansion and profit decisions.

So really as a worker you have 1 team lead who does the management, and 2 other stupidvisors or more who get paid a lot of money to do nothing. Kill off one of the middle stupidvisors, and just have one stupidvisor deal with multiple team leads. Really, you end up cutting the individual department stupidvisors and can get rid of any number of completwely useless people who don't do anything. You have to remember all those stupidvisors play a game called try to keep your job. That is their big responsibility to try and justify why they work there by stealing credit and making up bull**** work.

Losing these people is not a bad thing. They actually reduce productivity. They normally do not work together and come around to people doing the job and tell them 3 or four different ways they want things done, none of which correspond with what the others have said, or what you need to do.

Oh, and if we don't want to pay their welfare we can do like the japanese and make fatal game shows and make the fat useless twats compete and die. We could call it the hunger games or something and make money on entertainment where people get to watch their old annoying stupidvisors fight to the death.
Of course there may be more to the story.

Assume all you want, but you'll still be wrong.
A direct quote from Boeing? Are you serious? I said an unbiased source - Boeing is not unbiased in this matter.

So, you have no links to unbiased factual proof that the WH did not request Boeing to delay the layoffs until after the election.

    Noted.

only because the EU subsidises the hell out of airbus. they'd crash and burn if they had to stand on their own like boeing does.

Funny how capitalism works. Why don't those who believe in the 'free market' take the time to view the video embedded in the OP link?

    Here's a clue
Obama's Victory & the US Defense Budget
Carter Copeland, Barclays aerospace and defense analyst, explains why he has a buy rating on Boeing, and discusses the impact Obama's second term win could have on the U.S. defense budget.
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”

The business will pick up once they start installing democracy again. Airlines are losing money with so much excess capacity.

Taxing themselves into prosperity. I spoke with a buddy who has a company in SoCal, and I asked him why he isn't moving. He said... moving is for those who cannot afford CA... we can. He simply passes the costs of his high end products onto the wealthy that can afford his luxury items. Many can't. To think... CA was once a business friendly state.

    Have a nice day.

    Now that's funny.

You ask for proof that the program of downsizing management at Boeing has been going on for two years and when I point to a quote from boeing you claim its hardly unbaised.

do you realize how absolutely idiotic that sounds?

    truly amazing.

What is amazing is what the heck are you talking about?

I didn't ask for that - did you even read my post? Obviously not. Where EXACTLY did I ask for specifically that?

I never once doubted that Boeing planned the layoffs for two years. I even said that I knew about it.

My ENTIRE point was that the Obama admin. asked Boeing to delay the date for the latest layoff until after the election. Even if it was for only one day.

I asked for proof that they did not in fact do that...Sheesh.

Please do not respond to my posts in the future if you are not going to bother to read them.

I meant only that Boeing had broken the law. You want to rant about the evil corporations up in their corporate buildings being all corporationy I couldn't care less.
