Lets not candy coat it...23 millions out of work and a large chunk of them...well..they have already given up and have been out of work so long they no longer are eligible for benefits. SO...at least they are used to it. Bonus!

Im really surprised he won...The hundreds of millions that repubicans and conservative rich guys threw at this election was astounding...if you come away with anything from this election...is that PEOPLE RULE and PEOPLE override MONEY...if that wasnt so Romney would have won an electoral and popular vote landslide. There were hundreds of millions more poured into his campaign we will never know about.

Im not sugar coating anything Vance...there are millions legitimately out of work that want to work...and theres many millions more underemployed and dont make enough to pay their bills...and just walk in any walmart and you will see tons of them....underemployed that took the job because it was something. Theres more than a few college graduates working part time in my walmart...
Vance the one issue that I go deaf on...is when conservatives try to tell me that corporations didnt put millions of americans out of work out of their greed. I know thats true.

Keep in mind that we didn't really spend all that much on a worthwhile cause. We spend several times more than this per year on the Superbowl. Money didntbuy the election, perse, but I consider it good.​
 
If republicans are not completely retarded, they'll learn that ostracizing women (what was up with all that rape bull****?) and minorities ("Black people are racist", "Let's piss off Hispanics!") in order to pander to the WASP male demographic isn't enough to win elections anymore.

If republicans ARE retarded, they'll come to the conclusion that it was because Romney was a moderate and didn't appeal enough to the base.

Who wants to bet against the idea that the Republicans are retarded? Not me, that's for sure.

lots of 'reasons' why 23 million are unemployed (on the plus side, theres about that many illegal immigrants here working...so...SOMEONE is working). Lots of excuses why they remain unemployed. Excuses kinda ring hollow to those that legitimately cant find work. Personally...I think Obama is sitting back right now looking at a mirror and thinking..."well......****. Now what?" 4 more years of the last 4 years. I have said for 18 months now it was a foregone conclusion. Now everyone gets to live with the reality.

They will talk about the moderate portion, which doesn't make sense. You can't get much of an electoral coalition from the Johnson voters, and this was a pretty high-turnout election, high passion on both sides.
