Seriously though, fill your bathtub with water just in case for flushing and some clean containers with potable water just in case this isn't your first rodeo. You are probably going to have boil water warnings at the very least for awhile if you are near the intense parts. If you are on the coast, you probably should head inland a mile or so or if you are near a river or stream head uphill.
We're under driving ban as it's officially now a state of emergency.
I'm not in a flood plane, nor am I in a trailer. Still have power. Plenty to drink. Gas grill in garage with extra propane for cooking if needed.
I think the fine for being caught out driving is $115 dollars or something like that.
We've still got electricity and internet (obviously).
The worst is still 12 hours away.
