The criminal complaint details some of the conversations that took place between Valle and various co-conspirators.In a conversation from July 9 of this year, Valle is asked by an unknown co-conspirator, “How big is your oven?”
Valle allegedly responded: “Big enough to fit one of these girl if I folded their legs…the abduction will have to be flawless…I know all of them.
“I can just show up at [one prospective victim's] home unannounced, it will not alert her, and I can knock her out, wait until dark and kidnap her right out of her home,” he also said before boasting that he could make his own chloroform.”
Later, Valle, who law enforcement sources told FoxNews.com is married with a child, mentioned how he would cook his victim.
“I was thinking of tying her body onto some kind of apparatus…cook her over a low heat, keep her alive as long as possible,” he allegedly wrote....

Just what the HELL is society coming to? And what does our legal system DO to these people?

Read this a few hours ago and was dumbfounded. All I could say is "why?".

But then if I understood the why, something would be wrong with me. lol

Isn't THAT the God's honest truth? How could this be a whole conspiracy? One guy, I get. A group? SickoMania.

Just what the HELL is society coming to?

I don't think this is cause for alarm in regards to the greater whole of society; isolated instances where a psychopath indulges in some sort of perverted and dangerous fantasy have occurred before through-out all of history, but such events in of themselves are often extremely rare. Society is just fine, it's certain individuals that are screwed up in the head.

And what does our legal system DO to these people?

I would presume arrest them; yes police officers often acquire the get-out-of-jail-for-free card when they become over-zealous on the job, but given the sheer depravity of what this man wanted to commit, I'm certain that the moral prejudices of both citizens and police officers will incline towards the maximum duration of punishment.

Are you Guy's brother?

No. Had I been aware that someone else had the name 'Incognito', I probably would have chosen something different.

I'm just funnin' ya, Enigma. There's room for both and more. Good to see you.

Well perhaps if we paid our public servants better they wouldn't have to resort to eating their victims.....:thinking

What surprises me is how much people think TV represents reality. There are more truly sadistic, demented, amoral (no morality), totally brutal, violently insane, and people who find pleasure in causing others to suffer than most people imagine could exist - and believe it could never happen to them and theirs. What does 900,000 missing persons per year mean to you - and that is just those reported and for which the police file a report. Add to this all who do not go missing, but are only violated and abused?

The story of that police officer is not some unheard of anomaly in terms of sadistic, murderous bizarre violence merely for the pleasure of doing so.

What to do with such people? Kill them like the rabid mad dogs they are. But I'm won't get my way.

You are exactly right. The day I entered law enforcement, I thought utterly depraved people were very rare. Within a few years I had learned, to my regret, that they are not nearly so rare as I might have wished.

The thing is there are people WORSE than this guy, out there loose. I don't THINK this, I KNOW it for an absolute fact.

And people wonder why I view strangers with wary suspicion....

Just when I think that I've heard just about every horrific thing a human could do or want to do to another human, something so horrific that bile actual raises in my throat comes along.

The mind boggles at such depravity.

Yea, some people just need killing. This clown is one of them. Sadly, not the last.

I know such evil exists and how real it is. That is probably one of many reasons I am so greatly involved in my children's lives, obviously my daughter now in college. Very attractive. I walked the campus with her, twice, pointing danger points - like the parking garage - particularly elevator and staircase. Only park when other people around. when she visits now, she will be reminded for 10 or 15 minutes of safety rules. The list is long.

That if she breaks down on the highway, day or night, call me and then 911 and tell them you are a teenager and broken down. If someone hits you with their car, seemingly an accident, if in remote location, to call me and begin with a description of the other car including license if a man. Let him hear you doing it. Nor trust a man just because a woman is along or an older man (or young teen).

I always stress that under no circumstances go with an abductor and scream like crazy, fight like crazy. A gun or knife changes nothing. Refuse. Fight. If the person will stab or shout you there, that person will do so when getting you alone. At least the first way help may come. You will not be tortured and tormented. Life or die before the abduction, not after.

Avoid being alone, go on guard if she ever finds that she is, anywhere, any place.
Getting license numbers, even if partial. Never be embarrassed to run from someone, on and on. And never, ever, ignore a sense of danger or that something is wrong even if you don't know what it is.
The list is very long and she has heard it all hundreds of times before. I want it burned in as no thought-instinct. To not have to try to figure what to do because it's burned in.
In her employment - one that does have potential danger - I picked mentors and protectors at that location too.
She bought her own handgun rather than one I would give her so she had HER own - a surprise to me - on her 18th birthday. And enrolled in a CCW class, even though she can't get a permit until 21.
In her life, she's never been hurt, not for one second. But 99% of that is avoiding being in risk situations to begin with.

I read this earlier and as I was reading it I was making all kinds of faces :eek::afraid::crazy3: I was like....wow this guy is a real nut job who works in the Police dept and no cops have picked up on his craziness :doh reminds me of stores I watch on Criminal Minds....the most bizarre you can imagine. This is truly scary stuff!

My rule of thumb is, whatever the most evil **** you can imagine may be, you're not nearly demented enough to imagine the worst -- but someone has done it, and is doing it now.

That said, I can't even bear to read the article; I do not rent room in my head for stories like these, as they interfere with my peace of mind. Just the quote Mags provided was enough to traumatize me.

I do NOT understand how a man like this was able to pass the psych exam, become a cop and function well enough to avoid being arrested, nevermind to remain on the job. What use are these damned psych tests, if we can't even weed out these freaks?

This is terrific advice, joko. You should be teaching a course on personal safety IMO.

Anyone who has experienced or observed real sadistic violence by one person against another will not look at life and humanity the same way again.

This also is maybe why some cops become cynical and even intolerant.

The blessing in this story is that Valles's wife found stuff she thought was "weird" on his computer and fled with the kid out of state to her family.

I understand exactly what you mean by not renting room in your head for stories. Last night just before bedtime, someone posted a video about pig farming. I started the video and stopped it 6-7 seconds in, carrying an awful image to bed and half the day. I hate that ****. If that did this to you, you have my sincere apologies.

You may view the police with wary suspicion too.
