I think the tobacco/booze v. this stuff is that everybody should know tobacco/booze are dangerous by the time they are old enough to use it but not this stuff which people assume would be safe. Sports creams have killed people because athletes were using so much of it they were effectively sucking down bottles of aspirin through their skin.
By the end of the night it'd be 50% Monster, 50% Whiskey.
Fair enough.and if you're not a moron about it, you're not going to end up in the ER.
That's pretty much it.I gather from your other posts that you're concerned about long-term effects.
Especially young kids drinking this stuff when their hearts shouldn't be subjected at such an early age like I was drinking it the stress this stuff puts on your heart and things aren't helped if they continue to be heavy users of this stuff.
Everything in moderation, I don't want anyone to think I wanna ban the stuff. But I see kids these days drinking 3 or more cans of this stuff a day and nothing good can come from putting your heart under that much stress that such a massive caffeine and Taurine intake will put it under.Energy drinks haven't really been around long enough for long-term impact to be properly assessed.
It's nitrous for the human heart. Like cars, take at your own risk.

People died after drinking a product that can be found in every grocery store and gas station in the country.
Does anyone here really have a problem with the FDA investigating? I mean, it's not like they've freaking banned the product, what on earth is the OP on about? YES, FERCHRISSAKES, THE FDA EXISTS SPECIFICALLY TO CHECK STUFF LIKE THIS OUT.
One of you will end up here next!
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.
Need to get energy drinks on the drug list so the DEA needs more officers, more SWAT gear for local police, certainly at least 1 more prison in every state and the drinks costing $20 each on the black market made in people's garages.
I heard on the radio that the girl also had a genetic condition that caused vascular issues to be easily exacerbated by stimulants. Not sure whether the parents were aware of her condition prior to death, though.
