Blog Dinesh D'Souza Parts With His University Job Over Marriage Scandal By David Weigel Updated Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 3:04 PM ET

The evangelical magazine World broke the news: Dinesh D'Souza had disturbed some Christians by showing up a conference with a "fiance." D'Souza, as far as his fans knew, was still married to a woman closer to his own age. According to reporter Warren Cole Smith, the pundit -- and now filmmaker -- "filed for divorce only on Oct. 4, the day I spoke with him." When Christianity Today followed up and asked D'Souza whether he'd had an affair, the writer turned evasive: "Look, the issue here is that World is attributing to me an admission that I never made."

This development, undoubtedly, stems from opposition to his role in bringing Obama's past to the forefront in this divisive presidential campaign.

For those who don't believe there are a few very wealthy people supporting the blowhards like Dinesh D'Souza, the man's "salary" at King's College, which has fewer than 500 students, was one million dollars a year.

Lazy Slut Who Did No Work Dinesh D’Souza ‘Resigns’ From Million Dollar Christian College Prez Gig

Dinesh D’Souza: Not having the greatest of all possible weeks? Just a couple days after the revelation that got engaged to and/or shared a hotel with his new lady without technically getting divorced from his old one (and also that lady has a husband too, or at least did recently, ha ha) comes the bad news that he’s going to “resign” from his job as president of The King’s College. (We put “resign” in quotes because “he” “made” the decision after the school’s board of trustees met for like two days straight, presumably deciding the wording of the resignation statement “he” would write.) Was he forced out because of his sexual shenanigans? Sure! But also because he was doing a not very good job of being president of The King’s College? Yes, that too!

for even more hilarity, it seems that D'Souza's 'fiancee' is also married
D’Souza, who told Christianity Today that “he did not know that Christians generally do not approve of engagements prior to divorces being finalized,” is engaged to Denise Odie Joseph II (sic) and married to his wife. What’s good for the gander is good for the goose, apparently.

Denise Odie Joseph II was known as Denise Odie back in 2010 when she was in law school. She created a new Facebook account on December 30, 2011 under the name Denise Odie Joseph II and said she got married that day:

but the ultimate irony must be the blatherings of the woman on her own blog as exemplified in a blog post titled
Whatever Happened to Good Ole Hypocrisy? As America looks down the barrel of 2012, I’m hoping to bring back one precious but forgotten tenet of our society.

RINO Republicans are analogous to fathers who proudly proclaim their conservativeness at dinner parties or perhaps during early afternoon phone calls to El Rusbo’s show, but let their “independently-minded” wives (translation–women who get their marching orders from St. Oprah or more recently, The View ) pump their teenagers full of birth control and encourage their daughters to live the lives for which their bra-burning foremothers fought so valiantly.

RINO men are like a vast national living history museum, pictographically illustrating exactly why the 19th Amendment was never the best idea ever and in fact, more closely resembles the greatest show on Earth. Think Ringling Bros. If these modern families keep at it, museums telling the hieroglyphical tales of our civilization might be all that is left of us.

Why are some women pushing the idea that they, while bloviating on the internet about liberals taking away their rights as conservatives, don't believe in women's equal rights as citizens?

But it is King's College.

He is a blowhard though, one that has declined with time.

Let's see, he resigned and he knew (and admitted) he was doing something wrong. Contrast this to the many leftist blowhards who cannot walk their talk but are lionized for it nonetheless. And this has what to do with the content of the film?

Oh, the film is grossly misleading too, if you'd like to talk about that.

He didn't resign because of his role in Obama's America; he resigned because he idiotically took his girlfriend to an Evangelical conference even though he's married to someone else.

Think it through. Why would Evangelical Christians oppose Obama's America? They don't like him.

Yeah, no doubt that opposition tempted him with another women and sent the pictures to his wife and employer, each which were so gullible to his one time indiscretion they each chose to cut the guy out of their lives.

Or, it could be he is just another self-righteous hypocrite in the same vein as Ted Haggard, who was probably a serial philander such that the wife and employer could not cover for him anymore...... Maybe its just me, but I think the latter is more likely especially since few, except those susceptible to such things, took his work very seriously.

Really? Please tell, where was "2016: Obama's America" misleading. I have been waiting to hear an argument along this line but I suspect there may be only ten people in the country who had an inkling as to what it was about who went to see it anyway. I assume you have actually seen it?

Because... nobody in their right mind would argue that Obama being the son a Kenyan makes him anti-colonialist and thus a threat to America. At its best, it's nonsense.

Not really, didn't see the film myself. I'm sure you have a problem with it. But the thread isn't about the film, but the producer. More spaghetti thrown against the wall looking for a distraction for a fellow who can't defend his own record.

Re: 2016: Obama's America producer, Dinesh D'Souza, resigns presidency of King's Coll

Well, I have every single intention of watching it at 9 pm central tonight on Direct TV. Looking forward to it, myself.

Re: 2016: Obama's America producer, Dinesh D'Souza, resigns presidency of King's Coll

Of course I mean it would be interesting to hear from an Obama voter who actually saw "2016". I suspect that is a rare breed.

Sorry, I did watch it but I can't help you there. I am not voting for Obama. But I can say that much of the movie were words taken either directly from Obama's biography or from interviews with people who knew him, including his brother.

I am not sure I get your point. I think it is all that much more powerful using Obama's own words, as elusive as he is, to describe who he really is. By relating his upbringing to the things he says off teleprompter, i.e. redistribution of wealth, you didn't build that, etc., it is clear that he is a socialist. It is frightening to know that most people do not understand this.

D'Souza's personal life has nothing to do with what I feel was a very fair presentation of Obama's beliefs. The article in the post has nothing to do with someone having an affair and everything to do with trying to discredit a perceived conservative saying bad things about the "chosen one." Funny, if a liberal is caught with his pants down (google "stained dress"), it is a badge of honor. And if you are an ex-president you get a prime time speaking engagement at the Dem. convention.

The film proposes that an absentee father also managed to be Obama's primary influence in life. It also makes the assumption that taking a class with a professor means you share their beliefs. The film also claimed that Obama had the bust of Winston Churchill removed from the White House because he didn't like Churchill's beliefs. It's still in the same spot.

If they're willing to outright fabricate things, why would you accept any conclusion from the film? If you'd really been waiting to hear an argument along this line, you would have gone and checked it out for yourself.

Why should we support an anti-colonialist like Obama?

Why the hell should we support colonialism? You know what another way to say "colonialist" is?

"Guy who thinks we should invade other peoples' territory and take their stuff."

Economic and military Hegemonic influence is so much better. *thumbs up*

Re: 2016: Obama's America producer, Dinesh D'Souza, resigns presidency of King's Coll

Why should we support an anti-colonialist like Obama?

Being a "Conservative" one would think you would be all against colonialism. After all it gets away from the "Conservative" ideology. It says that it is perfectly fine for us to spread out troops out across the world and to spend enormous amounts of money to support these colonies, or what I like to refer to as occupations.

Conservatives are so full of **** they don't even know what they are suppose to believe anymore. Hell, I'm more of a conservative than many self-proclaimed cons on here, and I consider myself a socialist. I'm all for having an isolationist view on foreign policy. I'm for reduction in overall military spending, while boosting our naval spending. I'm all for decreasing taxes, but increasing spending on infrastructure, investments in research, and other things that would benefit this country here, and not overseas. These use to be conservative ideas..

Most people on this forum are what I would consider Neo-cons, straight out of the Dick Cheney mold.

You either didn't see the movie and chose to ignore many of the key points.

It clearly makes the point that O did not need to have a prolonged relationship with his father. O's mother revered his father and his anticolonialism (and by proxy anti-american) philosophy. This was in spite of his fathers daliances. Mom sent him "back" to Hawaii (where per D'Souza believes he was born) to live with his paternal grandparents who also advocated the anti-colonialism philosophy of O's father.

I assume that what you refer to in "taking a class with a professor" was his association with "Frank" whom O mentions many times in "Dreams of My Father." He cleaverly does not mention "Franks" last name apparently thinking he might want to run for President some day. He is Frank Marshall Davis, a card carrying communist that was investigated by the House Unamerican Activities Committee during the cold war. Frank was involved in O's "education" in his formative years - 12-18 y.o. He was not merely a "professor."

The issue regarding Churchill's bust is well covered above. Even Obama has owned up to the fact that the bust in question was moved and subsequently returned to GB. If you are going to defend your guy, you should at least keep up with hisl[Bl] current version of the story.

The beauty of D'Souza's film is that the facts are backed up by Obama's own words.

I believe that makes you 0/3 in your arguments. Maybe you should do some research.

British Embassy Confirms Krauthammer Right, White House Wrong: Churchill Bust Returned in 2009

The British Embassy has confirmed that Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer was correct when he wrote that a bust of Winston Churchill was removed from the White House when Barack Obama took office. An Obama administration spokesperson slammed Krauthammer on Friday in a fact-checking post on the White House’s blog which claimed the columnist was advancing a “ridiculous” rumor that the Obama administration had ever returned the bust. However, the British Embassy has confirmed that it did receive the original bust in 2009 and it currently resides in the U.K. Ambassador’s residence. The White House is in possession of another copy of the Churchill bust which is currently located in the White House residency.
That’s right, there are two.

RELATED: White House Bashes Krauthammer For Printing ‘Ridiculous’ Rumor That Obama Returned Bust Of Churchill

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer attacked Krauthammer on Friday for advancing a “patently false” rumor that the White House had ever returned a bust of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Pfeiffer produced a copy of the President and U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron observing the bust in the White House as proof. In fact, Krauthammer was factually correct.

On Friday, The British Embassy confirmed to Mediate that they did receive the bust of Churchill which was loaned to the Bush White House in 2009. The bust on display in the White House’s residency is a copy:

The bust of Sir Winston Churchill, by Sir Jacob Epstein, was lent to the George W Bush administration from the UK’s Government Art Collection, for the duration of the Presidency. When that administration came to an end so did the loan; the bust now resides in the British Ambassador’s Residence in Washington DC. The White House collection has its own Epstein bust of Churchill, which President Obama showed to Prime Minister Cameron when he visited the White House in March.

The Embassy concluded by noting that the U.K. and the U.S. share a close and special relationship and the “Churchill Bust story is a silly diversion – let’s get on and focus on seeing who wins most medals in the Olympics.”

I stand corrected - not moved to GB but the British Embassy, nontheless, "moved."
