Fidel Castro Hired Nazi SS to Train Military, German Intel Documents Reveal

And somehow that's supposed to help your argument that Cuba is bad for hiring ex Nazis, but the US isn't, even though the US did it more extensively? Oh, I get it, it's some kind of anti-muslim meme you're injecting into your anti-Cuban meme. Wow.

Focus, focus.

Honestly you're embarrassing yourself at this point. You really didn't know that the US protected thousands of ex Nazis in the Cold War did you? You're that uneducated on the topic, but you still posted the OP. Strikingly pitiful.

I never said they're bad for hiring ex-Nazis. Cuban Commies are bad, Nazis or no Nazis.

What does the Grand Mufti of Jersualem have to do with the fact that slave laborers were worked to death in Von Bruan's own lab?

Nothing, which is why I asked Joaquin if he had even read the article, before he posted it. :rofl

The article says nothing about Von Braun working people to death in his lab.

How do you work someone to death in a lab, anyway? :rofl

Pssst: the article lists numerous instance of the US protecting ex Nazis. More than say, some Cubans did.

I nominate your post the most disingenous of the week!

So if "liberals" were stupid for being surprised that Castro hired ex-Nazis, what does that make you, now that we've tutored you on how the US hired and protected more ex-Nazis? Come on, connect the dots.

You need to read your own OP. Better yet, pack it in. You're embarrassing yourself.

Now, which country hired and protected a lot of ex-Nazis -- Cuba or Cold War America. Come on, you can say it. It helps to talk about it.

My OP? :rofl

Um, I didn't start this thread.

.This news would surprise the Liberals and Progressive that support and admire the Castroit regime, but it don’t surprise most Cubans. The released of German documents prove without a doubt the hire of Adolf Hitler's Waffen-SS officers and the efforts to hire German paratroopers and technicians.

But, it says nothing about slaves being worked to death by Von Braun. I'm more interested in that documentation than anything else.

Do you know anything about the forced labor employed by the Nazis at facilities like those manufacturing V-1 and V-2 rockets? Anything at all?

It was not unusual for workers not meeting their quota to be publicly hung in the lab or the factory to ensure the others would continue to work hard.

Mittelwerk/Dora

It's good to see you find this stuff amusing.

It helps to actually...uh...read!

It's not hard to tell one discredited Libbos from another.

Like I say, you all sound alike to me: the same discredited dreck. And you've proved it again. At least Sandokan has wisely made a hasty retreat. You're still here, defending the indefensible OP! Perfect.

When did I defend the OP?

You said that the slaves built the rockets and worked the lab. Obviously, you're wrong.

Read the article. Lab/factory? What in the hell is the difference.

You must be the only person in the world who doesn't realize that Von Braun's fame - and subsequent U.S. citizenship - was achieved on the blood of thousands of slave laborers.

Dora and the V–2 - Engineers

Nope, it's right. Von Braun was an SS member and he used slave labor at Mittelwork to build his V-2s. He admitting visiting the facility and personally picked Jewish inmates from Buchenwald to work there. His criminal conduct is memoralized in letters in his own hand.

What are you missing here?

Oh I get it, you're just quibbling because conservatism is morally bankrupt. I forgot.

Glenn Beck will do a whole show on the difference between labs and factories in Nazi Germany and conclude that Castro and Mufti of Jerusalem were in cohoots.

It's how the conservative mind works.

Slaves. did not. build the rockets. Time to figure out that personal attacks won't make your falsehoods turn into truth.

The difference? Really??? :rofl

A laboratory and a factory are two very different animals.

Keep digging:

Guy Morand, a French resistance fighter who was a prisoner in Dora, testified in 1995 that after an apparent sabotage attempt:

Without even listening to my explanations, [von Braun] ordered the Meister to have me given 25 strokes...Then, judging that the strokes weren't sufficiently hard, he ordered I be flogged more vigorously...von Braun made me translate that I deserved much more, that in fact I deserved to be hanged...I would say his cruelty, of which I was personally a victim, are, I would say, an eloquent testimony to his Nazi fanaticism.[39]

Robert Cazabonne, another French prisoner, testified that von Braun stood by and watched as prisoners were hung by chains from hoists.[40] Von Braun claimed he "never saw any kind of abuse or killing" and only "heard rumors...that some prisoners had been hanged in the underground galleries".[41]

You really need to try harder if you're going to defend a Nazi war criminal.

Your lack of knowledge of world war II is truly frightening. Where do you think the rockets were built? In the black forest by elves?

I can guarantee you that this sort of eye witness testimony cuts no ice with the Braun worshippers. I can only conclude that they must agree with his tactics for building the unguided rockets whose sole purpose was to land indiscrimately in civilian territory and kill as many as possible. Not even the pretense that they were attacking military targets.

So what? Von Braun was responsible and in charge of both. He was the HMFIC.

I told you he'd actually pull a Beck and argue it matters.

It's what conservatives have to do when facts explode their demon-haunted worldview.

Certainly not all German soldiers followed this behavior, though the excuse of "just following orders" is rather pathetic, at least some German soldiers could have been unaware or deluded as to the wishes of Hitler?

Of course not "all" German soldiers were War Criminals but if you look at the psychology of the average German soldier you will see that their treatment of people in lands they occupied was barbaric. They considered anyone who wasn't German sub-human. Nazi Propaganda was very effective at dehumanizing people.
