Maine GOP attack Dem for playing World of Warcraft!

The video game industry is a mult-billion dollar industry, out preforming both music, and movies, so yeah everybody games.

No, they don't and no, it doesn't outperform music and movies. It true, a lot of people play video games, no need to exaggerate.

months playing a game for 22 hours a day, sleeping for 3 a day? Not possible, don't care who you are.

Heh, I've done it for weeks, not months though (programming not game play). However, that was a typo on my part. The figure given was 22 hrs a week, that why later in the post I said half the average work week.

O then yes 22 a week, totally possible.

Learn the facts.

Grand Theft Auto IV, a video game, recorded sales of $310 million… on its first day.

It's not the first time video games have made a one-day killing like that. Game sales have outpaced movies for some time now. For the first time last year, the video game industry surpassed the movie industry in gross sales.

So is the Italian sports car industry.

Does that mean everyone drives a Ferrari, Maserati, or Lamborghini too?

Also here's a PDF with some more facts that prove you wrong.

You haven't posted a single fact that proves me wrong.

I do not play video games.

I've posted numerous facts that you are wrong, and just because you don't play games, doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't play games.

Actually, it most certainly does mean that.

If I don't play video games than everyone cannot be playing video games.

You're probably a teenager or 20-something year old which is why you view "everyone" as a gamer. If you venture out beyond your age group you'll probably find not everyone is a Justin Bieber fan either.

Really, Jetbogieman?

Where's the problem?

The part that is shameful is actually two. First, that I am supposedly an Obama supporter, which I am not!!! Secondly is your rational that I play video games because I need to retreat into a fantasy world because I cannot handle the real world!!!! I play video games because the are fun FFS. Not because I am some dim witted uneducated sack of fat that cannot handle himself in the real world.

This was totally unwarranted, just because I enjoy "fantasy" worlds, I am somehow inferior to the likes of you that have to "retreat into make-believe and fantasy..." rhetoric that people are judged based on what form of entertainment they prefer.

Actually, it most certainly means that very thing.

If I don't play video games than everyone cannot be playing video games. How many billions the industry made last year will never change that. It's mind boggling that you even think you're making a logical argument too.

I meant everyone else, it's not hard to see that was the point I was making, and your wrong, I've posted facts, you've posted nothing, it's that simple.

You have done absolutely nothing to prove everyone in the universe except me plays video games.

Repeatedly insisting you have does not change that.

And I've never claimed that, so yeah that's your problem with reading comprehension.

Yes, clearly I have a reading comprehension problem.

You clearly do. You have no idea what the word "else" means.

I love you teenage communists.

Your brand of idiocy always makes me feel better about myself.

We just need to make it illegal for you to vote :/

Communist?!

I'm not a teenager, and I'm not a communist

It's a safe bet that if you're not a teenager then you're not too far removed from it.

I'm 22, and you still haven't addressed my facts, that the majority of people in the US play games. (Hint: that was my claim that you failed to understand.)

You haven't posted any single fact stating the majority of the U.S. play video games but your claim was everyone which then turned into everyone but me.

I don't doubt that video games are very popular in your age group. They're just not popular in mine and I suspect you would have a very difficult time finding a significant number of people above a certain age who play at all. Your grandparents are in the minority if they spend their twilight years doing so.

22 is about how you sound though. That says it all.

You might not have provided any evidence that someone was communist, but you certaintly removed all doubt as to who the a**hole was. Like makeing wild accusations based on stereotypes you made up? Anonymity of the internet make you feel big and powerful yet, or do you need some more to satiate your insecurites?

There is plenty of evidence that a large portion of the US games and that these are normal productive people, you can dispute it, but you would be a moron if you do, based on the evidence already provided.

That was never my claim, that is your problem with reading comprehension.

And I've posted an entire PDF worth of facts that prove you wrong, and the average game player is 30, and 37% of game players are 36 years of age and older. So yeah, your entire claim is not based on facts.

And it's good to be young ;)
