He said a little more than that:

"This country doesnít just succeed when just a few are doing well at the top. It succeeds when the middle class gets bigger. Our economy doesnít grow from the top down -- it grows from the middle out. We donít believe that anybody is entitled to success in this country," said Obama. "But we do believe in opportunity. We believe in a country where hard work pays off and responsibility is rewarded, and everybody is getting a fair shot and everybody is doing their fair share and everybody is playing by the same rules."

Please explain what is wrong with what he actually said above?
What's wrong with it? I know I'm sick to death of the suggestion that the people footing the lions share of the bill are not paying their "fair share". Also, I believe those who have honestly earned success are, indeed, entitled to their success. What is unreasonable about that?

Exactly what is their fair share? Who decides? And what happens if I don't do what Obama considers my "fair share"?
I interpret "doing their fair share" as simply working and contributing in proporation to those rewards.

It's a rhetorical proposition, not a rule/regulation/law and I seriously doubt Obama would ever consider/judge you individual contribution, so there really isn't anything to worry about.

I think if Mya misunderstood Obama, he isn't speaking very well. Doubtless she's smarter and better informed than the average American voter.

Frankly, I've been wondering why he's not sizzling, myself. Public speaking had been his forte'. The man needs to step up his game.

    Exactly.

I just think the Obamabots are those bitter failures from highschool, you know the ones? they were the ultimate underachievers and Obama is thier champion because he's the Ultimate Underacheiver himself so they can relate to him 100%

Don't worry, the fix is in. He'll bounce back in the next 2 debates and win in November. all of this BS is just window-dressing for fools who still believe in the voting process.
