It's one of three things. Either she is eating too much, she is not exercising enough, or (most likely) both. That's it. That's what's making her fat. There is no magic reason that is bypassing the science and simple math of it.

And I don't know **** about it, huh? I was obese. For years. And I worked my ass off for a long time to change the behaviors and fix the problem. Even still, 8 years later and in great shape, I am vigilant every single day in my choices and behaviors, so as not to fall back into those old awful habits. Don't tell me I don't know about it. What the **** do you know about it?

Are we not talking about role models here? Did you not say something in this thread about that??? I was just pointing out to you that your view of success and mine greatly differ.

You have chosen a person who simply wants to whine about what happened rather than take action. Like I said perhaps she will in the future I hope she does.
You call it whining, I call it standing up for one self. So what that she decided to bring it out in the open? You're okay with Lady Gaga doing it, but not her? The letter writer was a bully, a coward and a troll. Is that how you would deal with a family member who has an issue?

BTW you have conveniently forgotten to comment about the journalist's view of the situation as someone who has experienced hate mail....
See above. I listened to her response and in no shape or form I though it was a big ole fat whine. I didn't get a sense of "whoa is me!," and for the life of me, cannot figure out how any sane person could.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

    Ah, now I get it.

You're one of those "if I can do it, so can she!"

You're like those militant ex-smokers who are the most obnoxious towards smokers.

But again, even after your puffy-chest boasting, you still have not proven that you know **** about her. For instance, her work hours, her commitments, her family life, her health history, etc.

Like I said, you know **** about her. So get off your high horse and let her deal with her weight issues without your pie hole opinions.

These are your words, "a big ole fat whine.", not mine....

The views you have expressed are very negative with a while enabling people who need compassion, empathy, support and direction not Mollycoddling.

I know plenty about her, and so do you. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge the choices she is making which continue to cause her condition, does not change the fact that she IS making those choices. Spout off all the excuses you want. There is nothing that could be happening in her life that forces her to eat way too many calories. There is nothing happening in her life that forces her to not exercise for 20 minutes a day. These things are choices, and she makes them with every passing minute.

Keep being an enabler and an excuse-maker. Be part of the problem. In 20 years when literally everyone in this country is obese and diabetic, I'll tip my hat to you and your utopia of "acceptance".

Says the guy who has admitted that he was obese "for years" (your words, not mine).

You got out of it that funk yourself in your own good time. So let her.

I said "whine" .....you said "a big ole fat whine". There is a big difference, a very big difference. Obesity being the issue at hand I would say all the difference in the world.

Ah. Well I meant the whine being fat. Regardless, I didn't see her segment as whining.
