    Thank you for treating a serious topic as something other than a polical football. The VA system is the last portion of the military and government to get updated. Some of the systems were still running on big iron with vacuum tubes into the 90s. You know a few of them are still running COBOL.

    The electronic filings should help quite a lot, and as you said, it's about time. But they should be reinforced during the transition to avoid this snafu.

    I think I'll write my Senator about this.
