WASHINGTON (AP) — Despite two explosions and dozens of other security threats, U.S. officials in Washington turned down repeated pleas from American diplomats in Libya to increase security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi where the U.S. ambassador was killed, leaders of a House committee asserted Tuesday.

In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chairman Darrell Issa and Rep. Jason Chaffetz of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee said their information came from "individuals with direct knowledge of events in Libya."

June 10, 2012 - RPG is fired at the convoy carrying the British Ambassador in broad daylight as he is nearing the British consulate in Benghazi. No one is killed but the British later close the consulate.

Late June, 2012 - Another attack on the Red Cross outpost in Benghazi, this one in daylight. The Red Cross pulls out leaving the US consulate the last western outpost in the city.

August 6, 2012 - Attempted carjacking of a vehicle with US diplomatic plates in Tripoli.

Weeks prior to Sept. 11, 2012 - Libyan guards at the Benghazi consulate are "warned by their family members to quit their jobs" because of rumors of a "impending attack."

1. First, there was "no intelligence to suggest the attack was planned."
2. Then, there was the admission that new evidence confirms this was a planned attack.

So where did our intelligence system fail, exactly? If the attack was planned, considering it occurred in an unstable region with a hardy AQ population, what happened to our intelligence gathering that caused us to miss this one? Seems to me that somebody calling the shots out there dropped the ball, and that's disturbing. Part of the reason 9/11 happened was because intelligence was disorganized and disconnected and communication between intelligence gathering agencies was severely handicapped. Did we not learn enough from that debacle that we needed to regress on intelligence now??

Yeah, but either way back in June they Knew the Consulate was Hit, which they blew the gates off and left flyers saying they would be back, and they slso tried to assassinate the Brits Ambassador. Injuring his Body Guard when they tried to take out his Motorcade.

So IMO it is a Mute point. As they had confirmed hits then.

Problem you have here is that Trinity is not a Christian church in the traditional sense. It is a BLT church, "Black Liberation Theology" A deeper study into this may provide why it breaks with true Christian values.
