His motive is obvious, and even if it weren't, it doesn't give him the authority to actually do this, nor does it explain exactly where the funds to pay for the legal costs of said companies are going to come from without appropriation from Congress. That, of course, is totally over your head, because you, again, have no idea what's actually going on here.

This thread is a perfect example of the moral and ethical depravity of those who support Obama.
It's been established that he is willing to ignore the limits to the powers and authority of his position and is willing to commit taxpayer dollars in order to prompt companies to violate the law.
But the Obama supporters will use irrelevant rationalizations, feel-good reasoning and any kind of spin they can think of...including somehow making this whole thing seem like the Republican's fault...to justify his actions.

I can only image "employee compensation" isn't for the companies, rather the employees.The latest memorandum states the federal government would cover employee compensation under the WARN Act -- "irrespective of the outcome" as long as the contractor follows the Labor Department guidelines.
