    Yep, David Vetters, John Ensign, Larry Craig and Mark Sanford all resigned and left that very afternoon..... only in that alternative universe that you live in.sex-scandal-flow-chart.jpg

    OTH, Elliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner left pretty quickly (maybe its just a NY thing)

    Dude, you had to dig for a local pol, and then generalize it to the entire GOP to smear? Good God, {Edited}

    Oh, so other than the Governors that you listed, which some would say have a larger stage than their perspective states, the rest were all local politicians? False comparison.

    Actually, most of us are addressing this silly idea that if he were a Democrat it would be OK. To compare apples to apples, Weiner (D) was forced to resign, Vitter (R) is probably hoping to get a plum committee assignment in 4 months.

    Who says it's to smear? I'm just trying to restore integrity for the GOP. It was a WOMAN this time. Of course, I did have to dig for a local pol, and generalize it, because nationally, all the Republican scandals seem to be gay ones.

    Just trying to help, here.

    Oh noes. I screwed up badly. When I saw "prostitution", I naturally assumed that he was involved with women. Turns out that this was a gay prostitution ring. Never mind, and I take my offer to buy him a beer off the table. LMAO.

    Re: State Rep. Mike Horner ends campaign after being named in racketeering, prostitut

    Why the **** is it that so many people decide whether a "scandal" is in fact a "scandal" based upon the political ideology of a politician rather than the evidence that said politician of either party is an immoral horndog who can't keep his dick in his pants or her vagina password protected? Is it, you know, possible that certain politicians of both ideologies are simply self-indulgent, fraudulent, power-besotted narcissists who end up lying about their failings, thus ending their political credibility and careers?

    This scorecard of how many GOP versus democratic "perverts" and vice-versa is getting on my last nerve. Powerful people think they are immune to the morals of "mere mortals", regardless of ideology. They get caught, they find out they were wrong, and they get kicked to the curb. Quit trying to find a partisian advantage, people, just shake your heads and move on.

    So let me see, you turn a story about a Republican involved in Prostitution and Racketeering into a criticism of Democrats. I love how the right wing mind works!
