You don't understand history if you think the Munch Massacre was an attack on the US, or the West in general.
Islamic terrorism is not only directed against the US but has effected nations all over the world. Israel is a fellow democracy and an ally. If you choose to separate the democracies and rationalize terrorist attacks, as many have done against all the democracies, including the US, then we are certainly playing into the hands of those behind the attacks.
Nothing about that terrorist's groups origin is religiously motivated, they are nationalistic in their goals and their violence towards Israel is motivated by issues of land. Israelis displaced many Palestinians in their post independence expansion and their violence is about returning to what they believe is their rightful home, it has nothing to do with the fact that the Israelis are Jews and most Palestinians are Muslim. In fact their Operation in Munich was named after two CHRISTIAN Palestinian villages that were wiped out during the Israeli war of independence by an Israeli militia. The Israelis actually managed to evacuate most of the population before the operation, however after the villages were destroyed they simply left thousands of people without any resources to simply wander out into the land. It was a horrible event but resources were stretched thin.
There is more history here than what you claim

That's the problem with talking about "who they are," there is no "they." Radical Islam exists in many forms and many groups who have different groups, if you try to lump a group like Black September and Al-Qaeda in the same category you'll find you can only do it when you ignore everything that makes them different.
Actually there is a "they" and trying to ignore the truth, as this White House is doing, only emboldens Islamic terrorism.
The Communist movements in Russia and China were revolutions, not coups, they had wide enough support among the people to overthrow the government. They were very popular movements at the their beginning, however of course they became quite unpopular as time went on.
Yes, but many useless idiots in the West thought Communism a good deal, and many still do. And as long as we try to rationalize irrational behavior there will be more Commiunists, Fascists, Nazis, and Islamofascists in this world. Nothing will ever change,
What are you talking about? I'd describe people like that as horrible sick individuals, whats your point?
Yes, of course they are but do you understand there is a common factor regarding these terrorist acts against women, children, and many millions of other innocents? People certainly appear frightened of speaking out against the 'excesses' of Islam.
