because that, as far as I am aware, did not happen. Though it'd be fine if you could demonstrate it

So you think they just woke up and decided to change their policy just because?

These type of things are ALWAYS business decisions.

In that case your boycott worked, so stop your bitching and complaining.

Who is bitching and complaining? and BTW....there was no boycott on my part, I never patronized CFA in the first place, not because of political reasons but because I thought their food sucked.

    Re: Chick-fil-A changes position

Contrary to reports first made by the gay-activist group The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA) on Tuesday and later picked up by mainstream media outlets, Chick-fil-A and its charitable-giving arm, the WinShape Foundation, did not agree to stop making donations to groups that support the biblical definition of marriage in exchange for being allowed to open a franchise in Chicago.

“A part of our corporate commitment is to be responsible stewards of all that God has entrusted to us. Because of this commitment, Chick-fil-A’s giving heritage is focused on programs that educate youth, strengthen families and enrich marriages, and support communities. We will continue to focus our giving in those areas. Our intent is not to support political or social agendas.

Chick-fil-A agrees to stop funding anti-gay groups, Chicago alderman says | The Lookout - Yahoo! News

Chick-fil-A, the fast food chain that sparked a firestorm earlier this year after its president made public comments against same sex marriage, has agreed to stop funding anti-gay groups, a Chicago alderman says.

Joe Moreno, the alderman whose opposition of a proposed Chick-fil-A on Chicago's north side helped fuel the controversy, told the Chicago Tribune the company has pledged to include a statement of respect for all sexual orientations in a memo to staffers and has promised that the WinShape Foundations, its not-for-profit arm, would no longer contribute money to groups that oppose gay marriage.

Chick-Fil-A realized that bigotry was going to substantially hurt their long term profits.
I want to hear this from Chick Fila and not some Chicago lefty or some gay rights organization...

Oh no, you're not being political. Course not.

I'm just being honest. As I have said before....I would like to be able to say that I have avoided CFA due to political stances, but the truth is, I haven't eaten at one for about 30 years, because I always thought their food was dry and tasteless.

Is it? Do you have proof of such? Honestly, I'm asking that question. If Chick-Fil-A on its own decided to change its policy, that's fine. If it's the result of government force and pressure; that's an entirely different ball game.
