"Old Glory strikes back.

In an apparent case of red, white and blue revenge, a Pakistani protester died yesterday after inhaling smoke from a burning American flag during an anti-US rally. Abdullah Ismail succumbed at Mayo Hospital in Lahore a day after attending the fierce protest at the city’s Mall Road, where an estimated 10,000 people rallied. Witnesses said Ismail had complained of feeling ill after breathing fumes from burning flags."

I have searched for any source to confirm your position and I found nothing. When posting in threads that I start where you wish to make claims that run counter my OP kindly provide the basis for your statements, in other words "get real" and stop with the unsubstantiated nonsense....

This was first reported as follows: "One of the participants of the rally, Abdullah Ismail, passed away after he was taken to Mayo Hospital. Witnesses said he had complained of feeling unwell from the smoke from US flags burnt at the rally", as reported in The Express Tribune, a Pakistani newspaper affiliated with The International Herald Tribune (“The Global Edition of The New York Times”).

most of the flags you see in the news are hand drawn and kind of crappy! Bet you could make a killing by opening up a chain of stores in the middleeast called "Flags of the West". All the Flags made in the US which helps with the unemployment and people in the middle east can burn the real thing while actually helping western economies. Win win

Just use the same accelerant the idiot who burned cheerios on the general mills lawn did. Incidentally he also died very quickly afterwards. If only terry jones would die from koran burning fumes. Then i could really believe in the delightful irony.

Looks like this Pakistani flag burner heard about his fallen brethern and is trying to avoid the same fate....:lol:
