Why do you think that? If we destroyed the mosques involved in supporting (intel, comms, C2, etc) and launching attacks against US people and property nearly every time, and if we killed the clerics involved every time how many attacks do you thin would occur from mosques?

Without bothering to go back to your original question didn't you ask why we (the west) were on top?

We, the US have created more wealth for more people using the tenets of free market capitalism than any other devised system in history. We are failing now because we have strayed so far from it.

If you are asking a different question perhaps I will have a different answer.

I guess they would continue to attack from schools,markets and hospitals.

I said nothing about it being not disturbing. It should be. It is despicable, I would agree, very. Sometimes the best choice is the choice that is a caste Iron Bitch to make and live with. I've made few. I have to live with em. I can only hope I was right. But think of this, if a person take hostages realizes they cant use them as sheilds they much more likely to a) give up. b) not take them in the first place. It would not take many examples to ingrain this. It is the same reason we dont negotiate with terrorists. In the end less people get hurt. Sometimes the ends does jusitfy the means. The trick is to know when.

I personally would only hit Mecca or Medina if there was another major attack on our soil. That would be with nuclear cabaility. I would hit them convetionally though. If they hide Jihadists then they should be hit. Colateral damage should not even be in the equation. That goes as well, for mosques or any other place for that matter.

I am interested in your thought process. How would destroying those places where the attacks were planned, supported and staged from make the problem worse?

Excuse me I was in the Army for 12 years and served in Iraq...I am VERY much aware of how these things work.

The one treating this like a game is YOU and those that think bombing mosques will calm things down.
