What the **** does the judge's race have to do with anything? Why do you race bait so often?

I was making sure I had the right judge-He was the first Hispanic judge appointed in that state. The important issue is his party and it appears that his party is DEMOCRAT which explains his RULING since the law is such that his ruling appears to be borderline

Trying to use the race card is silly Redress

I think that chances are good that this ruling will be overturned on appeal. It doesn't make sense that the state can grant rights to unions through legislation but then can't take them away through legislation.

what relevance does this have to a thread about public sector unions

fascism is government control. this appears to be an attempt to derail the thread

one day,i hope to see public sector unions become a footnote in history books....

i'm ok with private sector unions taking their place at the influence table, though.

A Wisconsin judge has struck down the politically divisive state law that gutted collective bargaining rights for most public workers, the Associated Press reports.

Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas ruled today that the law, which was championed by Gov. Scott Walker and Republican lawmakers, violates both the state and U.S. constitutions. AP writes that it wasn't immediately clear whether the law was suspended immediately.
Unions representing Madison's teachers Milwaukee city employees had sued to overturn the law. Walker survived a June recall attempt driven by unions.

I thought this already went before the Wisconsin Supreme Court?

It did on a separate matter. The Supreme Court ruled 5-4(sorta, it's complex) ruled that the method used to pass the law was not unconstitutional.
