Calling Obama the same as Jimmy Carter is an insult to Carter. He was incompetent not sure he is a coward.

Well Egypt doesnt really have any oil. So that is not a any concern. There is one.....that the Egyptians play on. Thats the Suez Canal. Oh, and of course their Word.....which is suppose to mean something. That over their treaty with Israel.

Yet the Egyptians need to understand the bottomline. To much of headache given to the world over about the control of the Suez is just that......a headache. 2 Alleves and were good for 12 hrs more. As there are a host of people in the world that have no job. All it takes is one to say enough is enough, we will build another Canal. Problem solved, anything else along the way, just a glitch in the rollover.

You should study your history, and read the news while you are at it.

This is what the Embassy in Cairo released via twitter, "Of course we condemn breaches of our compound, we're the ones actually living through this," the embassy tweeted. "But neither breaches of our compound or angry messages will dissuade us from defending freedom of speech AND criticizing bigotry."

This is the lamest, weakest statement I have ever read, especially after a bunch of crazed lunatic have breached your borders. The message is clear, it is ok to use force to defile the honor, work and sacrifice of our men and women who have given so much in the name of freedom and human rights because we are the mightiness nation on earth but do not have the guts to defend ourselves....

    This totally disgusts me.....

No Connery.. what is disgusting is that an Egyptian who sought sanctuary in the US would misconstrue freedom of speech to do such and ugly thing.

The Suez Canal transit is strictly fee for service and generates income for Egypt.

Where are you going to put this other "canal"?

The response and the reasoning behind the response send the wrong message which is why a person who sought sanctuary would misconstrue what freedom of speech is and act like an animal.

According to the bolded, I guess violence is considered free speech. Funny, but I doubt they would sit idly by, and be understanding, if the same thing were happening over here, at the hands of our own people. Our government seems to have no problem labeling our citizens as terrorists, and watching them like hawks, but the same standard is apparently not applied if you feel you have a legitimate reason for being violent.
