A lot of that has to do with business owners having a lack of confidence in the current administration. All they hear from Obama and the democrats is how their income and corporate taxes need to be raised, and on top of that, they have to face the new taxes imposed by Obamacare that kick in at the end of the year.

I disagree. The only people using Mittens are the hard core Obama supporters. and death tax does not meet the definition you once supplied

I did not say that. Those who run businesses have to decide if they need new workers based on current demand. At this point they might not need them or they have increased technology to increase output rather than labor

I look to myself and my family to "save" me. I couldn't care less what some leftwing loser says. The definition you gave doesn't fit. If everyone understands what a term refers to than it doesn't fit the definition you try to apply to it.

employers hire when the business environment requires them to increase the commodity known as labor

that can be due to at least two-and perhaps more reasons

there is an increase demand on their products that require more labor to meet

there is no increase in demand but substituting labor for say more expensive technology will least to a decrease in production costs

Everything you said there is as I remember it. And as I said - according to you, there is no need right now for companies or employers to hire people and they will not do so until they believe that there is the need you described.

I don't have much use for the term savior. Relying on a savior rather than one's self to solve problems, leads to dependency. Dependency leads to weakness. weakness leads to supporting the Democrat Party.

Most Professionals have agendas. Your citations were to a wiki article that had no reference to evidence supporting your claim. and I have seen thousands of professionals who put the agenda ahead of the truth

If Obama had been white, and we had elected McCain, we'd still be in the same mess we're in now.

and a big mess it is, too. Not only have a lot of job seekers given up, even more have taken part time or entry level jobs that pay a fraction of what they used to earn. Moreover, half of recent college grads, most of whom never have held full time jobs, are unemployed.

This nation can not remain prosperous while wasting human resources in this way.

What has the SCOTUS done that you feel has contributed to this situation?

Neither party got us into this mess, and neither one can get us out.
