The strange thing was that Bush and Blair all got their second term even though the WMD accusation was proved a lie. The election machine is manipulated, so be the International Criminal Court. It is used to deal with "enemy" and will never apply on its creater.

If there is proof that Bush knew the WMD intelligence was false, why wasn't he impeached? I'm sick of that accusation, personally.

Ywan. Bush did it!

The entire intelligence community thought Saddam, had WMD's. Including Russia, Britain, US and Israel. I mean come on. The only person who lied here was Saddam. Talk about irony, lol.
 
Alzheimer's is a terrible thing. Tutu is just pissed that only Africans have stood before the ICC, and that one must have ratified The Rome Statutes to stand before it.

Fact is, there is no basis for giving the ICC jurisdiction. The US is not a signatory and the US court system IS capable of prosecuting such crime (even if the US ratified Rome, this latter argument ends his appeal).

The US has nothing to do with the ICC. Do you even know what the Rome Statutes and the ICC are? Claiming that the US created the ICC demonstrates flagrant ignorance.

But watch, the same people who cry about Iran's sovereignty will claim the US has no right to such.
 
It's a frequent problem in international politics. Suffering under a brutal regime makes you a martyr, not an expert on policy or politics *cough* Mr. Tutu.

On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam’s inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. If they could escort a proved dishonest Bush to his second term, that means they control the election system and media, so they control the selection of the officials and law makers. Why are you surprised at "no impeachment"? Naive or pretend to?

Citizens arrest warrants? The international JOKE of a tribunal? They are mad because some of their relatives etc, got killed in Iraq? Or because they want to prosecute Bush for torture etc, but the terrorists lopping of heads etc get a pass? :lol:

if operatives from some country "arrest Bush" that country's government should be terminated immediately with whatever force needed to accomplish such executions. and I would say the same thing if some idiots were to grab Obama when Romney becomes president. It should be considered an act of war and complete annihilation of whatever government executes such a seizure should be undertaken immediately

It's worse than that. The real reason they want him? They don't like him or his politics, period. It's so stupid I can't believe people still harp on this silliness.

Those people need to get over it and move on. He has been out of office how long now?

LOL

as a trial attorney I often deal with issues of whether someone is telling the truth or lying. One of the best ways of determining if someone is truthful is whether what they say is consistent with how they act. Bush's actions was consistent with his belief that there were WMD in Iraq
